A bitch? In front of the kids aswell. Still in shock and trying to process it.

Elphie54 · 03/12/2018 15:55

Depends on the context and if you were being a bitch.

Spilledmycoffee · 03/12/2018 15:57

Was it someone you know or a stranger? Where were you? I'd never be thrilled about it but depending on context I might be shaken or I might be able to brush it of pretty quick x

Spilledmycoffee · 03/12/2018 15:57

Off not of Blush

Rattinghat · 03/12/2018 15:58

Sometimes I would be flattered. Dep on the context.

Loopytiles · 03/12/2018 15:58

It would suggest the man is sexist. If he is a family member, boyfriend or partnet it would suggest he is verbally abusive.

Escolar · 03/12/2018 15:59

I would be shocked and very upset.

Ohyesiam · 03/12/2018 15:59

I would feel shocked, angry and hurt .
I really hate that word, to me there is so much woman hatred tied up in it. It’s the ultimate insult.
I do realise that it’s not that to everyone, but i think if it comes from someone you know, it’s pretty bad.

brizzledrizzle · 03/12/2018 16:03

I'd be furious, it's never acceptable.

Mrsglitterfairy · 03/12/2018 16:14

Depends if I was being a bitch or not? And who said it...

KatKit16 · 03/12/2018 16:32

My ex frequently called me a b....
usually stupid was in front. It always devastated me & eroded my self confidence. Don't think it was ever in front of the children.

PatSharpsMullet · 03/12/2018 20:54

I agree with Ohyesiam. To me that word is full of hatred for women and I would think any man using it to insult a woman is a misogynist.

halfwitpicker · 03/12/2018 20:54

Not good

LegoAdventCalendar · 03/12/2018 20:56

I had a boyfriend who called me that once. 'Ignorant bitch'. He was then not my boyfriend.

Sowhatifidosnore · 03/12/2018 20:56

I would be upset and absolutely FURIOUS. I can’t stand men who use that word about women, don’t like women using it either to call out either women. There’s a lack of respect there.

NotyourMummynotyourmilk · 03/12/2018 20:56

Depends if I was being a bitch or not!

funinthesun18 · 03/12/2018 20:59

The bit that would annoy me most is the fact that it’s been said in front of the kids.

Feb18 · 03/12/2018 21:01

Disrespected and angry.

AssassinatedBeauty · 03/12/2018 21:07

I'd be livid and furious about it being said in front of my children. The person saying it holds misogynistic ideas about women and I haven't got time for that in my life.

Sommelierrrr · 03/12/2018 21:11

Extremely distressed, extremely depressed and then single.

VladmirsPoutine · 03/12/2018 21:15

Well there's clearly a lot going on here. Is this your partner that called you this infront of your children?

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 03/12/2018 21:16

Angry, and he wouldn’t get to do it twice.

DoinItForTheKids · 03/12/2018 21:22

My H didn't get to do it twice. I divorced him.

TheMagician · 03/12/2018 21:23

Disrespected. Angry.

Who was it who said ''every time I stand up for myself I'm called a bitch''.

Stompythedinosaur · 03/12/2018 21:25

I would assume he was a misogynist. If my dc were there I would probably just walk away (if not I'd tell him to fuck off).

Crackedvase · 03/12/2018 21:28

I would feel single. My dh wouldn't dare
