AIBU to be freaked out about the random bumping?

For the past few weeks every so often I am sat downstairs and I hear a thud as if a kid has fallen out of bed...go up and everyone is peacefully sleeping! Wtf is it???

Ive looked and how they are laid its not wall kicking. I know its not really a ghost but aarrrgggh

It’s the noise the body of the mad woman who hung herself in the attic mad as it was cut down from the noose. It’s being relived in ghost form.

In our house the random thud from upstairs is the sound of the cat jumping off DS's bunk bed.

Have you got insulation boards in your roof? Ours follow the pitch of the roof and occasionally fall out and onto the roof floor below. It makes a big thud noise and scares the hell out of us! Could that be it?

My baby hits the headboard of her crib like this and it sounds like someone jumping on the floor. Scared me no end until I saw it happen on the monitor!

I used to have this and it turned out to be my kid dropping his book on the floor as he fell asleep. took me ages to work it out.

We regularly have the book falling out of bed. Makes hell of a noise from the top bunk!!

Deffo check the attic for squirrels. They are very destructive.
My BIL had to get rewired and all sorts.

Nooo we only rewired a little while back. Although I've not heard anything from my bedroom just when im sat downstairs

I get like this. I always think something has droppes upstairs.
However its always the sound of a car door slamming in my street.
