I tried to buy the yule log flavour one from M&S but sadly the two closest to me didn't have it in stock. I really liked the mince pie flavour one they have. I also tried Baileys orange truffle flavour but found the orange was too over powering.

What are your favourite brands / flavours?

I quite like Sainsbury's taste the difference one. Anything but Bailey's though, I'm certain its been cheapened as its so thin and waterery now and much too sweet
It used to be so delicious but I won't buy it again.

DoYouLikeHueyLewisandTheNews · 15/11/2018 16:12

Lidl's fake Baileys is lovely stuff. I buy it every Christmas.

Tumilnaughts · 15/11/2018 16:16

I quite enjoyed the Aldi one last year. Plan on getting some in once the 1st rolls around to accompany my decorating.

macnab · 15/11/2018 16:21

I only like the 'original' flavour and since I discovered Aldi's own brand version I wouldn't waste my money on anything else!

My Christmas treat is to have a glass of the Aldi's Bailey's (as it's called in our house!) with a splash of cognac and plenty of ice - heaven Xmas Smile

makingmiracles · 15/11/2018 16:26

Just bought one from Aldi a few days ago, cost £3.75 tastes great.

Anyone think the baileys strawberry and cream is worth I’m, im intrigued but loathe to spend that much on one bottle! (Cheapskate!)

HildaZelda · 15/11/2018 16:31

Another vote here for Aldi Baileys. Whatever they've done to actual Baileys, it's just not nice anymore.
Probably has sweetness and palm oil!

Babybearsporij · 15/11/2018 16:33

I'm dying to try the strawberry Baileys, but don't want to pay that much in case I hate it. I need to find someone to split the bottle with.

Best Baileys flavour ever was mint chocolate. I wish they still made it.

MrsCar · 15/11/2018 16:33

I love the Aldi & Lidl versions too.

TheChickenOfTruth · 15/11/2018 16:35

Pregnant and Christmas is going to be torture this year with no Baileys!
Anyone ever seen a good non-alcoholic alternative? I sure haven't.
😭

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 15/11/2018 16:36

Cheaper versions of Irish cream are always better than the excessively sweet Baileys. As for all the weird flavour-y Baileys, they can 'get tae fuck'

isseywithcats · 15/11/2018 16:37

Aldis own is lovely the diifference is it has brandy instead of whiskey in it its delish, last christmas they did a posher version at £6.99 it was lush hoping they do it again this year, also their versions of archers is spot on

ReflectionsofParadise · 15/11/2018 16:46

Tescos £3.95 fake baileys. The best by far.

Sitranced · 15/11/2018 16:47

Lidl or Aldi's own original flavour with some added jack daniels

ineedwine99 · 15/11/2018 16:47

Aldi version both cheap and posh
Tesco salted caramel is heaven!

ineedwine99 · 15/11/2018 16:48

Posh version is out now in my Aldi

TittyFahLaEtcetera · 15/11/2018 16:49

I can't have dairy and miss Bailey's. I was really annoyed the other day when Tesco had all varieties of Bailey's on offer EXCEPT the dairy free almande one, which was still £20.

I'll stick to making my own with liqueur and lactose/dairy free cream.

Spanglybangles · 15/11/2018 17:13

Try Coole Swan, it’s AMAZING. A bit pricier than others at £22 from John Lewis, but quality is massively superior to other Irish creams.

Spanglybangles · 15/11/2018 17:20

Quite like the chocolate and strawberry flavours of Baileys too. The strawberry is like a milkshake that warms your tummy too.

Poodles1980 · 15/11/2018 17:23

Coole swan if you have the cash but also own brand is also lovely

DaphneDiligaf · 15/11/2018 17:23

I don't like the strawberry one but my daughters do. Surprisingly I do like the Pumpkin Spice Bailey's which I really bought for them.

Another vote for Coole Swan - it’s gorgeous!

Gobbolino7825 · 15/11/2018 17:29

It also has far fewer calories which is always a bonus!

Notso · 15/11/2018 17:33

I've just bought the Aldi specially selected one, DD and I did a taste test with actual Baileys. DH poured them so it was a proper fair test.
We found the Aldi a bit thiner and it has a slightly unpleasant bitter after taste.
Real Baileys was thicker but a bit sweeter.
Both drinkable though!

gobbynorthernbird · 15/11/2018 17:33

To the PP who was saying about the vegan Bailey's, I wouldn't bother. It tastes OK but the texture is nothing like the real thing.
