We start this new thread on a brighter note: the mid-terms were a win for the Democrats, securing the House of Representatives and further seats in the Senate. This means more scrutiny for POTUS and the GOP, and bargaining power.

This is tantamount to ‘Individual 3’ defending ‘Individual 1’. It just makes it demonstrably worse - and dirtier. And to have it on a national broadcaster?

I found that tweet about “lightly” investigating the potential for a Trump Tower in Moscow hilarious. That’s not how things work in Russia, particularly Moscow. Think government handlers, knowing the right people, having established networks within the Kremlin - and payoffs.

I’m sometimes reluctant to post things like this as we never know what is actually happening in the background. However, this is too good to pass up.

Re: the image above, I’ve seen a video of the same moment: Trump was entering the room at the time. He undoubtedly looked directly at MBS and Putin, but not as long as the image might suggest.

In sentencing submission out tonight, Cohen says he spoke to Trump lawyers when he crafted the lies to Congress about Moscow project. Cohen also says he debriefed Trump on call to Kremlin asking for help on Trump Tower Moscow.

This may implicate conspiracy to commit perjury before Congress and is in direct conflict with Trump's characterizon to Mueller (per Rudy) he wasn't actively involved after October 2015 letter of intent, ie evidence Trump may have perjured himself.

I think Corsi is flailing wildly and this is probably for show than any serious attempt to intimidate mueller.

Corsi doesn’t have the power to file criminal charges against anyone, and nothing publicly alleged by Corsi amounts to prosecutorial misconduct.

Presumably Trump won't give a eulogy, but it will look odd if he doesn't even attend.
