Names?

I know I’m probably being unreasonable but I am 40+6 and just need some help

I know I’m having a boy and we’ve narrowed it down to 4 names. Please tell me what you think.
(I know there’s a baby name board but please just entertain me)

Max

Hugo

Zac

Harry

Noah

5 names 😩 big fat pregnancy fingers

There are 5 names there. I like Max best.

Love Hugo and Noah but I think noah is quite common...Hugo less so.

Hugo sounds a bit pretentious. Lots of Zaks at my kids schools and mostly a bit rough. The rest are great.

Don't like Hugo, sorry.

Love Hugo! My second choice would be Max. Zac, Harry and Noah are nice enough but there are so many of them (that might not bother you though).

But I cant stand 'short' names.

Hugo sounds like a puppy, Noah round here would be stereotyped as a Traveller name, Max reminds me of Clifford. Or the Bionic Dog (showing my age)

They are all lovely.I think I like Hugo and Max the most.

I don’t like Henry so it will most definitely not be that. I think Harry is a name in its own right these days.

I like all of them except Hugo and zac.
Hugo because it sounds pretentious and zac because it's become quite common.

Love Hugo, then I'd go for Harry, but use either Harold, or Henry on the birth certificate.

Max, Zac and Noah are not my favourite, but not awful at all.

Hugo is pretentious sounding.
Max is a dogs name.

The rest are all very —common— popular, but out of all of them I like Harry the best.

2 Zaks/Zacs in one class at school. Hugo is a name designed to be said in a stupidly posh accent with daaahling right after it.

There’s one Max at school, none at my last school (secondary). I think it’s a dog’s name, tho, sorry. There was a Marley and Milo, brothers, somewhere this week and I honestly thought they were dog’s names.

Harry means everyone will think it’s after Prince Harry.

I like Noah.

Is Hugo really pretentious?

I know of a couple of Hugos and neither of them come from posh families

Maximilian not max, and Zachariah not Then they can chose their full name as an adult

Hugo is the best name. The others are overused

I prefer the longer version of the names. I like Maximilian the best.

Max - Maximilian

Hugo - not fussed

Zac - Zachary

Harry - Harrison

Noah - a little too old fashioned

Hugo is pretentious. I work in a private school, the name gets a eye roll.

I think the names chosen by op are in that ‘category’.

The Hugo is know is the least posh person really . Tarquin is posh. Hugo is not unless you watch made in Chelsea.

Noah is a cute name that doesn't sound right after they stop being a toddler. I can't imagine an adult called Noah. Apart from the guy with the ark.

Max just sounds like a dog's name.

Zac also reminds me of a dog or that guy off Emmerdale...

I think Harry is the safest one but as a PP said, you'll probably know when you see him.

Hugo is awful IMO.

Harry is the best of the 5 IMO.

Zach and Noah are nice too.

Max? No. Not keen.
