Any psychics help me find my ring

Hi

Ok so you don't actually need to be a psychic but if you are that will help.

I left my very expensive engagement ring on a glass shelf in my bathroom last night. I leave it there regularly. Today it has gone.
I have checked the floor and under everything. All the usual places like next to the kitchen sink and in our bed.

It's nowhere. Did my cat eat it? Or did it fall in the toilet and get flushed away. Dh thinks it would sink but not flush down, is that right?

I don't have any expensive stuff apart from this but that's not just it I'm upset because obviously it's sentimental. Dh is very upset too.

Where is it psychic people

Thank you

Boom

I don't think you left it in the bathroom at all. It's either in your bedroom, or near the sink in your kitchen.

Deadringer · 23/10/2018 11:49

What were you wearing, could you have slipped it into the pocket of your dressing gown/cardigan or whatever.

boomerang1 · 23/10/2018 11:50

Thank you I'm going to check now xx

Just bumping this for you op in case someone with any better ideas comes along.

Disquieted1 · 24/10/2018 12:44

Was it cold yesterday? Is it inside your glove?

Reaa · 24/10/2018 12:46

I lost my watch in a similar circumstance back in August! Still can't find it.
I took it off for a bath, put it in the side in bathroom, remembered once I had got in to bed and decided to get it in the morning instead.

Fuck knows how that's vanished!

TheQueef · 24/10/2018 12:47

Has it fallen in the sink? Unscrew the sink trap.

BrightLightsAndSound · 24/10/2018 12:48

Its in your duvet cover

Thehop · 24/10/2018 12:48

Ask the universe

Worked for me once even though I laughed when a friend suggested it

CoughLaughFart · 24/10/2018 12:49

I was once convinced I’d lost a much-loved ring and found it days later in the laundry basket when I was getting a wash ready. Check it hasn’t somehow come off in your clothes.

Queenie8 · 24/10/2018 12:50

Get a torch and get on your hands and knees and start looking (and praying 🙏) It may be behind the loo or sink pedestal.

AdelesBeard · 24/10/2018 12:51

Not a psychic but the first thing that came to mind when I read the title was that it is under the sofa.

MrsPom · 24/10/2018 14:11

Not very helpful but maybe it will give you a little hope :) About a year ago my husband came home from work and proceeded to have a panic attack when he realised his wedding ring wasn’t on his finger. We looked everywhere for it, he even drove back to work thinking it might have dropped off there but it was no where to be seen. Fast forward to later that day and we were cleaning up after dinner. He picks up a tea towel and what should fall out onto the floor but his wedding ring! He swears blind that he had his ring on at work and that he never went into the kitchen when he got home 🤷‍♀️ sometimes we do things when we’re on auto pilot without realising. I personally think it was a sign from the universe that he should do more housework 😄Fingers crossed for you that you find your ring!!!

chemenger · 24/10/2018 14:18

I don’t know where your ring is but if it makes you feel more optimistic I found a necklace that had been missing for two years a couple of weeks ago. What’s more I found it somewhere I had looked before more than once.
Retrace your steps from yesterday, you may “remember” leaving it on the shelf because you’v done it so often in the past. If you left it somewhere different that will be a less imprinted memory. Chances are you were thinking about something else when you took it off and didn’t consciously register where you put it.

Whipsmart · 24/10/2018 14:21

Try asking for it back, out loud. I do this and things often turn up in impossible places

LetsHaveAnotherGo · 24/10/2018 14:23

Dirty washing basket - take every item out one at a time and give it a good shake.

AlphaBravo · 24/10/2018 14:24

It's in the sink trap I reckon. Or by your bed somewhere.

Elphame · 24/10/2018 14:26

Not the least bit psychic - but were you wearing a scarf?

Jakethecob · 24/10/2018 14:42

You didn't leave it on the shelf. You will know where you put it and keep returning to the area where it is to look. Where do you keep going to?

Tattandthis · 24/10/2018 14:44

A friend lost her wedding ring.

I suggested she check the rubber seal in the washing machine as it may have come off when loading washing.

It was there.

Tinty · 24/10/2018 14:54

Did you do anything yesterday like polishing, washing the car etc.? Where you may have taken your ring off in different circumstances. Did you take it off earlier, think you had put it back on, but you didn't.

I think it is in your handbag in a zipped pocket. Grin

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 24/10/2018 14:57

When do your normally take your ring off? For me it is whenever I wash my hands so it is usually close to a sink somewhere in my house.

SausageOnAFork · 24/10/2018 14:58

I think the op has also vanished. We should send out a search party.

MaMaMaMySharona · 24/10/2018 15:12

I'm so desperate to find out if it's been found!

wink1970 · 24/10/2018 15:14

Has it gone down the plughole? I lost my eternity ring down there last month - I watched in slow motion as it bounced off the shelf, ricocheted off the tap and down the pop-up plug.

Poor old DH spent an hour dismantling the sink having just gone to bed, so I was in trouble!
