Any psychics help me find my ring

Hi

Ok so you don't actually need to be a psychic but if you are that will help.

I left my very expensive engagement ring on a glass shelf in my bathroom last night. I leave it there regularly. Today it has gone.
I have checked the floor and under everything. All the usual places like next to the kitchen sink and in our bed.

It's nowhere. Did my cat eat it? Or did it fall in the toilet and get flushed away. Dh thinks it would sink but not flush down, is that right?

I don't have any expensive stuff apart from this but that's not just it I'm upset because obviously it's sentimental. Dh is very upset too.

Where is it psychic people

Thank you

Boom

I lost a necklace which was very sentimental. I would have sworn blind it was in a zipped pocket of my handbag which it disappeared from. About 18mths later ds1 who was about 2 at the time pulled it from the depths of the couch. I hope it turns up.

I remember being absolutely distraught when I couldn’t find one of my favourite rings ( it had been my maternal Grandmother’s engagement ring, given to me by DM). It turned up in the zipped compartment of an evening bag. I had taken it off during a jewellery making workshop then worn the ring that I made to go home in. Huge relief! Hope your ring turns up OP.

Pockets of the last cardigan, robe, jacket, jeans, trousers etc that you wore.

Did you maybe take it off somewhere else to wash dishes or do something to your hands, like painting them?

TidyDancer · 24/10/2018 15:23

Have you checked where you put toothbrushes/toothpaste etc?

GinIsIn · 24/10/2018 15:24

Another vote for you not putting it on the shelf in the first place.

I lost my keys for weeks once and they turned up inside a pair of children's stilts!

MaryBoBary · 24/10/2018 15:31

Not helpful but I lost an earring at the end of December last year. This week I took the key out of the front door (never take the key out as we don’t use the front door) and my earring fell out of the key hole. Very bizarre.

I found a lost bracelet in the freezer!

Any psychics around to find OP?

I’m too curious. But I think it went in the sink.

Any luck boomerang1

I don't think you left it in the bathroom. What were you doing yesterday that you needed to take it off? Baking, washing the car, decorating, applying hand cream? Is it a snug fit so it couldn't have slipped off accidentally? I lost my car key last week, I don't have a spare so was panicking. 2 hours of searching and I had given up. Took some washing to the tumble drier in the garage and there it was sat on top of the drier.

I hid some jewellery before I went on holiday I still can’t find it , very frustrating

Aprilislonggone · 25/10/2018 08:04

Towel pile?

boomerang1 · 25/10/2018 16:37

Hi all sorry I have not been back I have had a very busy week at work.

I have found it yay !!!! It was under the bath. No idea how it got under because there are no gaps in the panel. I took it off and it was there. So glad I found it.

Thank you for all your help and comments. Hope others lost items turn up xxx

I had a necklace that I wore quite a lot and, when I realised it would go perfectly with my (coloured) wedding dress, I took it off and put it on a small pot on the bathroom window sill for safe keeping. Came to getting ready for the wedding, no sign. Pot was still there. Necklace not. Very annoying.

We've since moved and I was surprised not to come across it then, after all "these things always turn up don't they?". No. They do not. Fortunately it wasn't valuable.
