I'd also love to get in touch, @anothernameagain000 - my day job is as an editor for a small publication but I am always looking for freelance! Unfortunately I appear to be an idiot who can't PM on the mumsnet app (but don't hold that against me!) :-)

I let out our spare room on AirBnb. It takes time to get established but after a year we have a superhost rating and are booked 6/7 nights a week .

Focus groups can be good earners £50 for 2 hours and some daylong ones pay more and register for viewber which is flexible - you show people round houses in your area, other things exam invigilator, dog walking and other people’s ironing

My friend does FM fragrances and make up, it's a bit like avon.
I think it's a pyramid type scheme for earning, but the perfumes are lovely and really affordable about 13.99 I think

Can vouch for matched betting. You can make a sweet little extra income risk free. YouTube videos are helpful to get your head around it as it appears super complex at first but like anything the more you do it the less difficult it gets. Also as with anything you do need to put in the time but as little as four hours a week could see a few hundred pounds a month once you know what you’re doing with it.

Marking short courses sounds interesting but don’t you need a qualification of some sort?

eBay. I’m not doing too badly, I get stuff from charity shops or online and resell. Make an ok amount. It takes a while to know your market but a nice bit of extra £.
