chaoscategorised · 12/10/2018 22:27

I'd also love to get in touch, @anothernameagain000 - my day job is as an editor for a small publication but I am always looking for freelance! Unfortunately I appear to be an idiot who can't PM on the mumsnet app (but don't hold that against me!) :-)

Onefootforward1 · 12/10/2018 22:31

I lecture part time on top of my day job and do quite well out of it.

Rudgie47 · 12/10/2018 22:35

One of my friends runs a S an M dungeon and makes a lot of money from it.

ginswinger · 12/10/2018 22:39

I let out our spare room on AirBnb. It takes time to get established but after a year we have a superhost rating and are booked 6/7 nights a week .

lottiebear69 · 12/10/2018 22:41

Focus groups can be good earners £50 for 2 hours and some daylong ones pay more and register for viewber which is flexible - you show people round houses in your area, other things exam invigilator, dog walking and other people’s ironing

ARoomSomewhere · 12/10/2018 22:46

Just to say it is hard to make money from Counselling

Pickling onions and beetroot.
Selling occasional prints of photos I've taken.

bourbonbiccy · 12/10/2018 23:13

My friend does FM fragrances and make up, it's a bit like avon.
I think it's a pyramid type scheme for earning, but the perfumes are lovely and really affordable about 13.99 I think

Can vouch for matched betting. You can make a sweet little extra income risk free. YouTube videos are helpful to get your head around it as it appears super complex at first but like anything the more you do it the less difficult it gets. Also as with anything you do need to put in the time but as little as four hours a week could see a few hundred pounds a month once you know what you’re doing with it.

hmmwhatatodo · 12/10/2018 23:44

Marking short courses sounds interesting but don’t you need a qualification of some sort?

forwhatyouare · 12/10/2018 23:50

Web camming? I'll bet my coat Grin

LOL7 · 13/10/2018 00:09

Mystery shopping is really easy and actually quite fun :)

Gardai · 13/10/2018 00:12

eBay. I’m not doing too badly, I get stuff from charity shops or online and resell. Make an ok amount. It takes a while to know your market but a nice bit of extra £.

GrandTheftWalrus · 13/10/2018 00:40

Can I have a pm too? Need extra income.

notangelinajolie · 13/10/2018 00:41

I make curtains and blinds

LOL7 · 13/10/2018 00:42

@RedPandaMama Where do you originally get the clothes that you then sell on on eBay? :)

motherone · 13/10/2018 01:01

Dazedandconfused1988 · 13/10/2018 01:18
