At one point the presentor asking her if she really thought that circassian (or some other guff) crystals could help with infertility issues. (In a tone of scarcely concealed incredulity)
GP then drones on about the miraculous ability of the human body to heal itself..blah blah
It was great radio (I'm not sure why GP was on in the first place) but, unfortunately, I don't think GP realised how ridiculous she sounded.

I would have thought most people listening to R4 wouldn't want to hear about a GOOP pop up shop in London - the programme's London-centric enough without wasting valuable time on a here today gone tomorrow shop in the capital run by an actress whose opinions on health care are a laughing stock.

She is running a business. Goodness knows who buys the products she sells, but we can only assume that they have more money than they know what to do with. There are plenty of free ways to improve wellness and well being, but promoting those isn't lucrative. I am currently involved in a health campaign raising awareness of the relationship between the way faces are meant to grow and a range of health problems. Our answers are simple, easy and free. They could save the NHS a fortune and improve the health of the next generation enormously. Our budget so far has been limited to donations, which means that getting the ball rolling will be slow to begin with. Sadly, I can't see Gwyneth Paltrow donating.
