That tastes nice and wont give me indigestion

Tonic on its own gives me indigestion

Seedlip is meant to be basically just that!

WineAndTiramisu · 30/09/2018 20:29

Ask and you shall receive...

I enjoyed them whilst pregnant, not cheap though!

cardibach · 30/09/2018 20:29

Seedlip is nothing like gin. It’s horrible.

HollowTalk · 30/09/2018 20:30

But you still have to have tonic with Seedlip. Are you cutting back on alcohol, LEM?

CallMeHippo · 30/09/2018 20:31

Have you tried Seedlip? I like the Garden 108 one.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 30/09/2018 20:31

You'll be sorely disappointed with Seedlip. It's ok as a soft drink but a gin substitute it is not. I'm glad I tried it in Pizza Express, saved me spending on a bottle of the stuff.

CallMeHippo · 30/09/2018 20:31

X post.

PlatypusPie · 30/09/2018 20:33

Tried Seedlip - just vaguely cucumber/juniper taste . Not at all nice and very expensive for what it is.

mothersanonymous · 30/09/2018 20:34

I quite like seedlip, it doesn't taste exactly like gin but I think it makes a decent drink. There are three different flavours now.

wombatsears · 30/09/2018 20:34

Ah Seedlip - more expensive than gin and tastes like cucumber water.

HolidayHelpPlease · 30/09/2018 20:40

I’m sure Gordon’s have a 0% pink gin out?

HolidayHelpPlease · 30/09/2018 20:41

www.gordonsgin.com/en-gb/the-collection/gordons-ultra-low/ (Fingers crossed the link is clicky!)

MrsSchadenfreude · 30/09/2018 20:42

I make my own tonic water. It makes an excellent non alcoholic, non sweet drink. You could play with the spiced and add more juniper for more of a "gin" taste.

LEMtheoriginal · 30/09/2018 20:47

My favourite gin is Hendricks with cucumber so i could just drink cucumber in sparkling water?

I saw seedlip when I was pregnant but refused to buy it on the principle I could buy actual booze (and decent gin too!) for less than what they were charging. I was bought a monin gin syrup which was ok, and much less!

ImNotBusyImLazy · 30/09/2018 21:17

There is a new non-alcoholic gin that I've read about but haven't tried yet:
ceders-alt-gin.com/index.html#

Sainesbury's stocks it, comes in three varieties.

Everyoneiswingingit · 30/09/2018 21:18

I find tonic with ice and a slice of lime is passable......just.

DParse · 30/09/2018 21:19

Seedlip tastes like very bad mouthwash. It would be cheaper to buy sodding Listerine. Just don't. And YANBU.

DramaAlpaca · 30/09/2018 21:19

I like Seedlip. With tonic I find it's an acceptable substitute. I have the spicy one.

Everyoneiswingingit · 30/09/2018 21:20

Oh just seen it gibes you indigestion. Sparking water with a squeeze of fresh lime, ice and slice of cucumber.

Laska5772 · 30/09/2018 21:21

I really , really like Seedlip Garden.. you can get it in Tescos or from Amazon

HeyMicky · 30/09/2018 21:29

Have you tried Qcumber? Ocado sell it. To me it feels v close to a G&T

Buggerbrexit · 30/09/2018 21:30

Gordon’s 0% is lovely

OnceUponATimeInAmerica · 30/09/2018 21:36

I do like Seedlip, but maybe try Berkshire Blend. Also best mixed with tonic.

Barabajagal · 30/09/2018 21:37

I like Seedlip with Fever Tree cucumber tonic.
