To think that after today's Half Wower, Sara Cox

should DEFINITELY replace Chris Evans on the breakfast show? At 8am I was sat in traffic, gloomy as anything and feeling shattered. By 8.20am I was having a full on party in my car and loving it!

Can’t abide her. Switch over as soon as she comes on. I don’t want a party in my car at 8.20, my kids are uncontrollable enough at that time.

Yes, you are being VERY unreasonable. As the last thread on this topic also showed, she is very Marmite, but the majority are on the "not keen" side.

I hope Sara Cox replaces Chris Evans, I'll start listening again if she does. I hope it's not Fern who (like Chris) just wants to talk about herself and her family all the time.

I used to find her so annoying, but have caught her several times recently and think she is an absolute revelation. She is very quick witted, and has a great turn of phrase. I think she's a great idea as a replacement. (Please don't let it be Jo Whiley at any rate!)

I turned on, listened to her talking about bacon stuck in her teeth and flossing etc., and turned off again. It was a bit gross for my first listen of the morning #delicateflower.

no please no....cant quite work out why she makes my teeth itch but she does ..am sure shes lovely but no.... I dont mind the morning partyness but she seems to play an even narrower type of music than CE..

Please not Sara, not Jo, not Ferne. Why the BBC over promote these deeply irritating self-obsessed women is beyond me. There are some amazing female broadcasters out there but they don’t seem to get the chances these three too. (I reckon it’s a male conspiracy to keep the really good ones down...)

I thought Zoe Ball was taking over ?
I’m afraid I can’t stand her, I turn over. Nothing to do with her as a person but her seemingly exaggerated accent and ‘I’m oh so normal’ makes me twitch unfortunately.

Oh. I haven't listened to her much before to form an opinion but based on today's show I'd vote for her. I loved the music she was playing, and she made me laugh out loud with some of her comments. I think secretly everyone wants party music to start the day don't they?? The music Chris Evans plays is sometimes so dreary that I have to put radio 4 on to cheer myself up!

I just don’t get why anyone likes talking on the radio anyway. I just want to hear music. Music music music. Not what some DJ’s goldfish had for breakfast. And yet ALL the breakfast shows are non-stop yammering.

Not Sara, not Jo or Ferne for me either. Or Zoe, although to be fair, she's the better of the four, in my very humble opinion.

Here's a solution to the problem - Simon Mayo!! ON HIS OWN! Then we can have him back all to ourselves... The DriveTime slot could be rehashed and someone like Craig Charles could do it. He's cool.

Is Simon mayo the one who is obsessed with saying 'No G' after every word ending in 'ing'? If so he makes me want to claw my way out of the car and throw myself in front of moving traffic.

I really like Sara. Hope she takes over. As long as like a pp said, she doesn’t start bleating about her fam all the time. Also no kids jingles! Gives me the RAGE
