should DEFINITELY replace Chris Evans on the breakfast show? At 8am I was sat in traffic, gloomy as anything and feeling shattered. By 8.20am I was having a full on party in my car and loving it!

Liza is good yes but way too eccentric for breakfast radio!

I love her, I am so pleased she is there this morning! Last night Mark Goodier was doing her show and I hoped she would be on this morning.

I am a HUGE fan of her for the breakfast show.

She is genuinely funny, bright and can hold a conversation with her guests and doesn't talk over the co hosts, unlike ChrisMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMELOOKATMEMEMEMEMEMEMEBLOODYEvans who never listens, always interrupts and interviews like an eight year old showing off to grown ups and sulks if anyone else says anything amusing.

I love Sara Cox, really enjoyed Love in the Countryside recently.

However I've never weaned myself off R1, even though the music's mostly crap it just feels more young and lively and morningy. Greg James is a fantastic DJ. Sara or Zoe might tempt me though as I could pretend it is the 90s.

I only listen for a little while. Never was much of a fan but she really made me laugh with her adverts for the butcher this morning. I could live with her replacing Chris. The show was too much all about him.

Smart, witty, down to earth and mad as a box of frogs - really hope she replaces CE. She reminds me of my best friend from school who was genuinely absolutely lovely and likable, and very popular.

Love how a pp has decided the majority don't like Sara Cox. I must have missed that referendum.

I love her especially on the radio. Or Zoe Ball or Liza Tarbuck.

I normally listen to Virgin in the morning as my two local presenters moved to the breakfast show last year. But when they get moved to accommodate mr Shouty Evans, I was going to move back to R2.

Wasn't too keen on SC as CE replacement as when I last listened to her she seemed very shouty but having caught a couple of minutes of this mornings show, she sounds not bad at all! Would still prefer Simon Mayo back on Breakfast, or Dermot O'Leary but either Sarz or Zoe would be better than CE

I also love Sara Cox and really don't like Chris Evans' show all that much. Coxy's half wower today was superb! Both kids were moaning in the car until I turned on the radio and Guns N Roses came on and that amazing intro and both children started dancing in the car and laughing.

I've always loved Sara cox, very down to earth and funny. I'd listen if she takes over. I've struggled to find a radio station the past few years, I feel too old for radio 1 but too young for radio 2. I've listened to radio X but I find Chris moyles too irritating these days! I'm hoping it's Sara cox!

I used to love Sara Cox on the Breakfast show on Radio 1. I'd totally start listening again if they put her on. I just remember, compared to Moyles, who was on Radio 1 breakfast after her - she was kind. She was nice to people, she said kind things. I found her comforting. When Moyles took over I started listening to the Today programme instead and I've been there more or less ever since, but for Sara I'd move to radio 2. I'm sick of Humphreys anyway, he's just turned into a posher sub-Jeremy Vine/Clarkson wilful misunderstander and he makes me shout at the radio.

Urgh Chris Evans is awful in a morning. Sometimes only get 1 song in the half hour it takes me to get to work.
He spent a whole week talking about eggs. 🙄
Sara Cox at least adds a bit of life in a morning and plays music!

I like Sara's humour but the music is always rubbish IMO

I do like Zoe and love Simon Mayo - he's be my first choice! Fed up with drive time it's shit now - thought it may get better, it did but not enough IMO

I love Chris Evans on the radio, I never used to be a fan of Sara Cox on R1, but over the last few years I've really warmed to her, she's hilarious! I would def still listen if she took over.

I don't understand why anyone listens to these self-obsessed, unfunny presenters yabbering on about total nonsense. I can't stand any of them, the forced, 'upbeat' and too-cheerful tone sets my teeth on edge. It's not just cos I'm not a morning person, I can't stand afternoon presenters either. How can they think of interesting and funny things to say day after day? The answer is, they can't, so it's vacuous and tedious.

I alternate between Radio 4, Radio 3 if I want music, and my local radio station for local news.

I like Sara Cox but I much prefer Zoe Ball or Simon Mayo for the breakfast show. DriveTime is a disaster since they changed the team so I worry if they don't move Simon, they'll lose him.

I have been boycotting Chris Moyles since approx 1997 when he was very rude to me on a phone in on Capital radio.
Not that I'm one for holding a grudge.

I turned her off - can’t stand her and the over-enthusiastic “look at me - aren’t I northern” - it’s all very fake and incredibly irritating.

Just listen to 6music, Shaun Keaveny is great for the non morning person, music play lists are great then its into the lovely Lauren by the time the caffeine has kicked in.
