HAPPY SATURDAY YOU WONDERFUL LOT

Hope you're all having a wonderful day.

I've had a relaxing day, did a bit of tidying up this morning, all the washing etc, and then we've watched all 6 episodes of no offence and just finished an absolutely gorgeous Chinese. Nicest we've had in so long. I'm just watching the end of an NCIS episode and then going to step into a hot bubble bath and read a book before an early night and I can't wait.

*What are you plans for this Saturday? x
*
Have a wonderful weekend everyone xx

That sounds like a lovely day.

Well yesterday was my birthday, a few friends have suggested a pj party tonight, drinks movies and games.

But

4 have bailed and 1 says she's coming but is cleaning the house today so "Will be there, but not committing to a time"

So prob just some criminal minds for me

Poodles1980 · 15/09/2018 18:29

I’m counting the minutes until everyone is in bed after a long day. We are having chipper for tea and I’m going to have a beer and watch the last episode of Harrow

Jaimx86 · 15/09/2018 18:33

Chilling at the spa before attempting to be Jamie Oliver and cook calamari and sea bass.

Watching Harry Potter atm, waiting on a pasta bake to finish in the oven, then we'll have dinner and put toddler to bed. Then it's xfactor time!

36+3 pregnant and been diagnosed with obstetric cholestasis so taking it easy, I've to get up tomorrow morning for monitoring 😴 trying not to be too anxious but I just want baby here now.

Snoopychildminder · 15/09/2018 18:37

I’m having a glass of wine whilst my daughter plays with play doh and has tangled on in the background (bad parenting I know but it’s been a busy week!!)

MrsTommyBanks · 15/09/2018 18:37

Scampi and chips on the go. Harry Potter on tv.
If I'm still awake I might watch a TV film later.

Purplevicki · 15/09/2018 18:39

I got back from a week away in the countryside last night so today has been a slow, catching up with washing kinda day.

I went to the cinema, stopped off at Greggs on the way home, watched the last 3 episodes of AHS series 7 and then had a 3 hour nap.

I need to get up and sorted as I’m babysitting for my friend tonight.

That.

And I hope to snag a man on OLD tonight 🤣

MrsTommyBanks · 15/09/2018 18:39

@DwangelaForever hope it all goes well tomorrow Flowers

Sitranced · 15/09/2018 18:39

Hoovered and did some laundry. Prepped up the camping equipment for next week then cooked a roast and now lounging on the sofa. Bubble bath and wine later

Justanotheruser01 · 15/09/2018 18:40

Op your Saturday is pretty much mine were episode 3 into no offence and will be finishing it tonight!
Just done some internet shopping accidently brought more uggs never owned a pair until last weekend but honestly theyre the best my althritic feet can walk for literally hours!!

TomHardysNextWife · 15/09/2018 18:41

I'm suffering from a bout of costochondritis and spent most of Tuesday in A & E thinking it was my heart Sad. So yesterday and today, I've told DH I wasn't working (family business) and I've so far watched all of Vanity Fair up to date, watched The Bodyguard again as I didn't follow it all last weekend, I've watched the new Patrick Dempsey drama on Sky and I've had coffee out with my youngest DD and we bought the dog a new toy. And walked said dog in the lovely sun this afternoon. Been blinking lush to do nothing for a change.

ScrumpyCrack · 15/09/2018 18:44

You sound like a very enthusiastic person, OP!

It’s my first day of not working for a long time and I’ve got the house to myself. I had big plans to watch lots of films, drink some wine and order a takeaway but I’m struggling to stay awake.

fourquenelles · 15/09/2018 18:44

My gentleman caller is here for the weekend so we had a huge late breakfast and then took my dogs out for a poggle around the local park.
Then a walk to the river where I protected my beau from the geese (he really doesn't like them and they seem to hate him).
Then a nosey around an antique/junk shop and the sign I had asked after for years that was "NOT FOR SALE" had a price tag on it so I bought it! Deep joy. It is mine...all mine!
Then off to Cafe Rouge to cash in some Tesco vouchers for a very late lunch.
Back home now with Hotel Chocolat chocs, mead and a couple of films on the telly. Maybe butternut squash and carrot soup later if we get peckish.
Dogs fed and watered and coats on as there's a chill in the air.

Good day, good day. Channeling Bruce Forsyth

JayDot500 · 15/09/2018 18:44

Currently revising for an assessment on Thursday. Recently decorated downstairs, so spent the day procrastinating. Spent a stupid amount of time deciding on the best order that our cushions should be displayed on the sofa Grin

Need to put my toddler in bed and cook stir-fry pork n rice for dinner.

Jaimx86 looks relaxing! I never want to cook after my steam n sauna sessions. Good luck!

Watching Harry potter and eating a ridiculous amount of halloumi fries Blush

DingDongDenny · 15/09/2018 18:45

Saw my mum, had lunch and took her shopping. Now drinking a gin and tonic with chicken roasting in the oven

It's rose and pomegranate gin which tastes exactly like Cinzano

DingDongDenny · 15/09/2018 18:46

Halloumi fries - are they a thing. Sounds amazing

LinoleumBlownapart · 15/09/2018 18:47

I was going to take the children to the pool, but it's cloudy/overcast and looks like it will rain. The pool is outdoor and unheated. So instead, the two younger ones are in the playground at the end of the street with the neighbour's children and the teens are on their phones in their rooms. I am drinking a bottle of beer and planning to tackle organising the bikes and scooters and clean the floor under where they live in the garage.

agedknees · 15/09/2018 18:50

Moving house next Thursday. Spent today packing boxes, taking granddog back to dds, cleaning my sisters house (she’s disabled), walking our dog, cleaning the ovens for whoever buys this house.

Just planning dog walking/pub lunch for Sunday. Not allowing anyone to use the oven!

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 15/09/2018 18:50

DingDongDenny yep, and they are too good 🙈
Aldi sell them but they are nearly always sold out! Costco ones are lovely. Haven't seen them anywhere else yet but I doubt it'll be long before everywhere has them!

emwithme · 15/09/2018 18:50

So far today I woke up early, fed the cats, gave myself my Clexane injection, went back to bed for a few hours, had a lovely bath and caught up on Masterchef Australia.

It's our wedding anniversary so we're off out for a (non-boozy in my case, 29 weeks pregnant) dinner in about half an hour. I really should get dressed...

catsoup · 15/09/2018 18:51

I found out this morning I got my long sought after promotion so I have bought myself flowers and fizz, (single parent).

I am going to have a leisurely evening with DD and being smug! Grin

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 15/09/2018 18:53

Congrats catsoup Grin

Avonandice · 15/09/2018 18:53

Ive got a houseful of scouts today, they are doing a cooking competition and they wanted to practise.

Tomorrow we are doing a bag pack to raise funds for Jambouree

agedknees · 15/09/2018 18:53

Congratulations catsoup.
