HAPPY SATURDAY YOU WONDERFUL LOT

Hope you're all having a wonderful day.

I've had a relaxing day, did a bit of tidying up this morning, all the washing etc, and then we've watched all 6 episodes of no offence and just finished an absolutely gorgeous Chinese. Nicest we've had in so long. I'm just watching the end of an NCIS episode and then going to step into a hot bubble bath and read a book before an early night and I can't wait.

*What are you plans for this Saturday? x

Have a wonderful weekend everyone xx

Currently sitting on a Dutch barge in north east France, finished supper and drinking a bottle of Alsace Champagne whilst watching the sun set. Very warm today at 26 degrees.

Pastaforlunch · 15/09/2018 19:02

PrincessConsuela & agedknees

Thank you!

DwangelaForever · 15/09/2018 19:12

@MrsTommyBanks thank you 😊 I'll feel better when I get to Monday and get to talk to a consultant again, not loving this weekend NHS Skelton staff!

steff13 · 15/09/2018 19:14

Eating Chinese food and watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix. Later I'm picking up groceries and I might go buy some mulch.

MisstoMrs · 15/09/2018 19:17

Busy day of doing the first prune of the garden. 4 hours of lopping, trimming, d as heading and a tip run. Then a lovely long hot shower and a little snooze while DC was asleep before a play-athon. Skipping the run tonight and just planning to chill with DH and a homemade curry. Lovely!

DollyWilde · 15/09/2018 19:17

I have had the first lazy day to myself in months. Have done some light tidying but nothing major, and am now under a blanket on the sofa with a glass of wine watching Sex & The City 2 as I found it on Netflix and I wanted to see if it was truly as bad as people say Grin

Snoopychildminder · 15/09/2018 19:19

Is Harry Potter on the tv?

Kim82 · 15/09/2018 19:24

Currently watching Harry Potter with a takeaway. Dd1 is staying out for the night, dd2 is upstairs with her friend who is staying over, dd3 is in bed watching a dvd with dneice which is also staying over. Dh is due to go out soon and my dsis is here and we plan on drinking prosecco, watching a film and chatting all night (she is also staying over).

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 15/09/2018 19:24

DollyWilde I am a massive satc fab but I did think it was truly awful! The wine may help though Grin

Justabadwife · 15/09/2018 19:25

We went food shopping first thing, I went to work. Came home, changed the beds, tidied up, made tea. Now chilling out watching Harry Potter.

sarahjaneg · 15/09/2018 19:27

I'm just getting ready to go back out to work.....but shattered and have 0 motivation!

WooYa · 15/09/2018 19:27

It was my birthday yesterday so was meant to be havin a day out... DS is a bit poorly so we went to IKEA (YAY!) and now watching Harry Potter with some prosecco!
Happy Saturday guys! WineGlitterball

Gingerbiscuit99 · 15/09/2018 19:29

Music class and shopping with the DS, followed by a sneaky snooze whilst he watched The Lion King for the hundredth time. He’s now gone to Grandmas for a sleep over so happily browsing MN whilst DH is upstairs decorating. 26 weeks pg with the next one so couldn’t possibly help 😆😆 I did take him a beer up a while ago and I might consider cooking soon, though I might also ring the takeaway.

Looking forward to a lie in tomorrow!!

dontknowwhattodo80 · 15/09/2018 19:31

Pretty shit day, home alone as children at hobbies and DH volunteering at the same event. My 2 best friends ( also child free for same reason) spent the day together even though they'd told me they were too busy to meet for lunch ( they went out for lunch together)

So I'm feeling sorry for myself , and have an abundance of chocolate to gorge on later whilst I wallow in self pity.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day!

SneakyGremlins · 15/09/2018 19:31

A+E!

WhiteKnuckleRide · 15/09/2018 19:31

Wish I had a Chinese.

This morning I had a lie in til 10 (DS at his dads) then got up and started pottering about; put a wash on, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. DP out tonight and he asked me to clean his jacket so I did that. Had a lovely long shower and painted my nails. Now chilling in the front room with rather nice wine. Oh hang on... the wine is all gone :( so I have opened a lovely bottle of cider. I wanted to meet up with friends myself but everyone is busy so I am having a night in alone getting tipsy with only MN for company Grin

Sidalee7 · 15/09/2018 19:35

Just had a takeout pizza, kids playing football and thinking I might watch Harry Potter - seems to be a common theme!

Sidalee7 · 15/09/2018 19:35

And eat another slice of pizza even though I am way too full...

DollyWilde · 15/09/2018 19:36

@PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock

Started badly when she referred to Native Americans as Indians in the opening credits and it’s going steadily downhill, only 30 mins in! Ah well, I’ll save my re-read of Proust for another day Grin

Layoverlife · 15/09/2018 19:38
