Just remove the top. The rest look still perfect.

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 00:54

Are you taking the piss? That is well rank and should be down the waste disposal quicker than a nuns first curry!

InstagramPork · 11/09/2018 00:55

I would not eat that

myrtleWilson · 11/09/2018 00:55

what does the skin look like? Were you intending on cooking whole or can you not open up and see?

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 00:56

Oh come on!

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 11/09/2018 00:56

Just cut the top off. Have a look inside. It could be absolutely fine.

BabySharkAteMyHamster · 11/09/2018 00:59

Meh. Id chop the end off and give it the sniff and squeeze test. The rest looks fine to me.

ferrier · 11/09/2018 01:00

Has the skin started discolouring?

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:01

No no no!
When you see a bit of mould on food it’s like a bloody iceberg! You are seeing 10%
I’m all for cutting the green bits off a bit of cheese but when you’ve got a vegetable that has its own hairstyle and needs a passport then it’s time to say goodbye

I'd cook it. It's started to get a bit seedy, but it looks fine to me.

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:03

Yes it’s fucking rotten!!!!! Bin it!!’,

BabySharkAteMyHamster · 11/09/2018 01:06

They look fine..........are you struggling for food op ?

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:08

Op, why are you posting at this time of night about about a rotten vegetable?

delphguelph · 11/09/2018 01:09

Bit minging really

ferrier · 11/09/2018 01:09

They look fine. A wee bit seedy but cook them today and they'll be delicious. Hmm at all those who would throw them out.

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:10

Just looked at original pic
Hoarding at all?

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:10

Fuck me! It’s a fucking mouse!

Qwebec · 11/09/2018 01:27

It's perfectly fine. Who are those people who throw away perfectly fine eggplants? The part moldy is the stem that's not edible anyway.

ConsiderHerWaysAndOthers · 11/09/2018 01:30

I presume the OP is American hence eggplant not aubergine and it’s dinner time here in Chicago. But that looks gross, I wouldn’t eat it.

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:39

Sorry it’s not a mouse but look at original pic!
Jokes aside I would not be eating that

scrivette · 11/09/2018 01:40

Yes I see the 'mouse' in the photo!

MenaMecca · 11/09/2018 01:42

What's the mouse? It's an eggplant!

OP posts:
Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:43

Thank you scrivette! It does look like a mouse and I thought op was having a laugh.
Obviously not, but I still wouldn’t eat it

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 11/09/2018 01:44

Mena how can you not see a mouse?!
