Saw a house last week and each and every radiator was painted. Ranging from sky blue to burgundy. Why???????????

The whole lot would need to be replaced.

Have decided against the particular house in question Custy. I had a proper look at the radiators on Saturday and they would need replaced as there were layer upon layer of paint on them.

We are now buying a new build, with more room for less money in the same area.

Ordinary radiators are ugly things. Why on earth would you want to see a bright white radiator against a burgundy wall?? Utterly hideous!! Mind you, why would you want a burgundy wall, but that's a whole different question.

It's no big deal anyway as others have said. You just repaint them or cover them. Not sure why you think they'd need replacing.

Yes, you are. If you buy the house, repaint the radiators to your own liking. Problem solved. You can hardly expect people to decorate to your tastes when they live in the house.

Please don't get radiator covers they are the equivalent of those toilet roll dollies We all know what is under them You can rub down rads and paint them white

They won't can report the radiators in my new build are white...
