AIBU to be devastated by my white pubic hair?

First post on here, so bare with me. Showering earlier today and glanced down to notice a pure white pubic hair staring back at me. Over the past year I have noticed a few white hairs appearing on my head and cannot help but pluck them out, but this white pubic hair has made me feel old and slightly disheartened that age is catching up with me. I am 35 and relatively fit after having 2 children before 30 and being an avid gym goer. My partner is 18 years older than me but looks my age as he is a huge gym goer. He is constantly complementing me on my looks and tells me he loves me all the time. I do not take compliments very well and this cheeky pube hasnt helped! AIBU to be so upset about this and just embrace what is happening to my body. 😒

I get the odd white eyelash and can't resist pulling them out. Will have to stop eventually or I'll have none left once they are all white

Mines looked like a badger’s nesting down in there since I was mid 20s. Never bothered me - the many greys cropping up on my head do though (I’m only 31)

yabu. It's only ageing. It happens to everyone (if they are lucky). Nothing special or unpredictable.

I'm not even sure it's ageing - I remember getting them in my early 20s. I'd love to check now but I'm so pregnant I can't see my own foof anymore 😅

The gym thing made me snigger. Do people who go to the gym look younger, then? I think the muscle bound hulk look is freaky.

YABU. It's not a reflection on your fitness levels, it's a normal sign of ageing. Enjoy the rewards of your healthy regime and forget the errant hair.

Absolutely no amount of going to the gym is going to influence your genetics. Pull it out and get on with your life. You'll be fine.

Pull it out , dye it or go for a Brazilian

Pubic hair is necessary. Before porn nobody shaved it all off. Mine is neat but I'm not satisfying some sexual ideal. It protects from infection.

I'm 33 and have had to dye my hair regularly for years because I'm totally grey.

Or Hollywood - a friend of mine had a husband who used to borrow her mascara to disguise his partly grey eyebrow

Wait till it starts gradually disappearing! And not from waxing...sigh. Then again eyesight also gets worse so...guess it all balances out in the wash!

I'd be upset too. I'm 36 and have to get my roots done every 4 weeks because I'm really quite grey, more since having my kids my hair seemed to fall out but come back grey. None downstairs yet but I've only got a tiny postage stamp so not sure I'd see it. I did get one white eyelash tho I pulled little bugger straight out. 😫

Generally people who look after themselves, do look younger than people who don’t, yes.

Who said anything about a “hulk look”? Just because someone goes to the gym doesn’t mean they’re a bodybuilder.

My foof looks like an old mans chest wig. I'm 35. Dh doesn't care 😂
