Ex wants to borrow my Netflix password

I have already changed it once when I found out he was watching stuff with a new gf, and now he has cheekily asked for it again. How can I rebuff him. I have ignored his message but am thinking whether to say something along the lines of ‘why should I pay for you to watch stuff with one of your many women’ but then I don’t want to seem petty!

No, pay for your own you tight bastard.

Nicknacky · 16/08/2018 20:43

Just say no. That’s all you need to say.

Blanca87 · 16/08/2018 20:44

Just tell him to fuck off. End of.

Aprilshowersinaugust · 16/08/2018 20:44

Get your own you cf!!
Should cover it!!

serbska · 16/08/2018 20:44

Sorry hun, I can’t give you the oassword. It’s only £7.99 a month if you want to get your own account.

BuffyTheMLMHunter · 16/08/2018 20:44

"Sure, your half of the subscription will come to [£×], will send my bank details shortly"

Bineverywhere · 16/08/2018 20:44

"that's weird... It's working fine for me. Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Sparklesocks · 16/08/2018 20:45

I would just ignore him - sends the message loud and clear!

DickensianHysteric · 16/08/2018 20:45

Message him to say, sure, the new password is fuck0fftw@t!

Darkstar4855 · 16/08/2018 20:45

Just say no!

Timeforabiscuit · 16/08/2018 20:45

Id just ignore on the grounds of not finding a more eloquent response than "fuck off"

SilentBob · 16/08/2018 20:46

He's an ex- doesn't matter how many women he's watching Netflix with now, as long as he does it on his own dime.

If I didn't want discourse I'd ignore and block. Otherwise a 'nah, bro' should do it.

OftenHangry · 16/08/2018 20:48

"that's weird... It's working fine for me. Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
This😂

Bluelady · 16/08/2018 20:49

Just say no.

funinthesun18 · 16/08/2018 20:52

We had this too with dp’s ex.
Get your own CF!

KinkyAfro · 16/08/2018 20:55

He's your ex, tell him to fuck off

Aquamarine1029 · 16/08/2018 20:55

Why are you even wondering how to deal with this? Say no or don't respond at all. Fuck him.

BE18mum · 16/08/2018 20:55

Wow that is proper CF!

Tell him you’ve switched to NowTV and you’re only allowed one device ;)

Angie169 · 16/08/2018 20:56

you can not ' borrow ' a password what does he plan on doing when he has finished watching the film , erase it from his mind ! Hmm
why on earth should you pay for him to watch Netflix , even if he was watching it alone it would be CFary , tell him to go to the very end of fuck and jump of it

Jammysod · 16/08/2018 20:58

`No' should suffice. Cheeky swine

Hushnownobodycares · 16/08/2018 21:00

'Fuck off, chancer' should do it.

oneofthose · 16/08/2018 21:01

Reply with yeah, sure! I've changed the password to your name to make it easy to remember. I've spelt it 'cheekyfucker' all lower case Wink

Sophie12312 · 16/08/2018 21:02

Bit of backstory, we have kids but split due to his anger and drink problems. Even though I know I did the right thing, I still get nervous of standing up for things and fall back into just being nice to avoid any confrontation. I let him have the password before but then got drawn into something where one of his women contacted me. I asked her how and she said she had seen him put my email into Netflix. I was then fuming so cancelled it.

Why is it so hard to just say no? First, he's your ex. Second, if you give it to him can you trust him not to share it out? You can have a maximum of 6 registered devices but only 2 can stream at any one time. Sharing your password pretty much ensures that at some point you won't be able to stream because other people will be using your allocation.

GinPink · 16/08/2018 21:07

Well you could say after the last time his gf got your email it's put you off for life incase it happens again? Or just lie and say you cancelled yours and now use a friends account
