Ex wants to borrow my Netflix password

I have already changed it once when I found out he was watching stuff with a new gf, and now he has cheekily asked for it again. How can I rebuff him. I have ignored his message but am thinking whether to say something along the lines of ‘why should I pay for you to watch stuff with one of your many women’ but then I don’t want to seem petty!

Just say no.

IgglePigglesAnnoyingGiggle · 16/08/2018 21:12

A proper blanking will suffice but if you really must respond then the only words you need are "fuck" and "off".

Netflix is £7.99 a month for basic - I am astounded at the amount of cheeky fucks I hear about that pull this scam.

gamerchick · 16/08/2018 21:14

Just tell him you've cancelled it as it wasn't worth the money and if he sets his own up can he give you the password please

AynRandTheObjectivist · 16/08/2018 21:15

No, sorry, just buy your own.

Just say that. You've had the guts to end it with the twat, this is easy.

Rebecca36 · 16/08/2018 21:15

Just say, "No". If you wanted to watch something at the same time as he, there would be a problem. He's got a cheek!

acatcalledjohn · 16/08/2018 21:18

This.

Dollymixture22 · 16/08/2018 21:18

Well done for getting away from him. Tell him to buy his own bloody entertainment.

Freeloader!

didyouseetheflaresinthesky · 16/08/2018 21:19

I'd go with a heartfelt "LMAO ...Oh you were serious?" personally.

WineAndTiramisu · 16/08/2018 21:19

Just ignore him

Jasperoonicle · 16/08/2018 21:20

You had to cancel netflix as you are on a tight budget with the kids. Suggest he opens an account himself and give you his details instead!

OutPinked · 16/08/2018 21:21

“Ask for your girlfriends instead” and block.

parklives · 16/08/2018 21:21

This ^

NicoAndTheNiners · 16/08/2018 21:22

No because unless you pay extra you can only watch it on one device at a time. So if he’s watching something you won’t be able to.

SocialPiranha · 16/08/2018 21:23

Tell the tight fuckhead to get his own subscription. It’s less than a tenner ffs. He should be embarrassed to ask you. If I was his new gf I’d be embarrassed to date someone so cheap.

CoolCarrie · 16/08/2018 21:24

Ignore him, you don’t have to answer the cheeky fucker at all!

YaLoVeras · 16/08/2018 21:25

Will he get angry if you say no?

If you feel saying no will provoke him, then the 'turn it off and on again' response is very funny. It's a very breezy no.

rainingcatsanddog · 16/08/2018 21:26

Borrow? Take more like.

Yanbu to say no.

Gemini69 · 16/08/2018 21:28

I hope have said No... Hmm

Lucked · 16/08/2018 21:29

I think you should use this as practise at saying no to him firmly as it will make it easier with other things. Practice makes perfect.

9amTrain · 16/08/2018 21:32

Tell him he can borrow your middle finger the fucking leech.

DontDribbleOnTheCarpet · 16/08/2018 21:33

Cheeky bugger would probably get a free month if he signed up as well. So he could use it and then cancel before the month was up and still not pay anything.

I'd guess it's not so much the Netflix he likes, it's the pleasure of making you provide it for him. Arsehole.

SteamTrainsRealAleandOpenFires · 16/08/2018 21:39

Tell him that the password is "ask your mates, but, oh dear! you haven't got any have you?"

RaspberryBeret34 · 16/08/2018 21:40

Definitely just say no! If you want to soften it to keep things OK and not cause an issue, just say you've given it to your mum/friend/sister or whatever and don't want to give another out as only 2 people can watch at once now.

glamourouspud · 16/08/2018 21:41

Say your subscription allows you to have two accounts and you share it with a friend so ones hers and one is yours

knicksfan · 16/08/2018 21:50

I would reply and say "are you having cash flow problems hun?"
