Gahh!! I hate them all their perfect mum and their drippy wet behind the ears dad. Sadly my 2 year old is obsessed with it. Id rather watch fireman Sam even though I can't stand that Norman... little bastard. If it not thag it's iggle cunting piggle leaving mucky patches on upsie daisys stomach (shlag) so irritating!

Sorry this is just meant as a bit of fun not to offend anyone. Which kids shows do you hate and why? So you hate topsy and tim as much as me?

Peppa pig, In the night Garden, teletubbies... I hate them with a passion.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 10/08/2018 11:46

Hated Rose and Jim.

Even the music makes me want to scream!!! Grin

Japonicaisstillahorsygirl · 10/08/2018 11:50

I suspect Topsy and Tim’s Dad will have an affair before long

blueskiesandforests · 10/08/2018 11:53

I hated Topy and Tim too - the worst programme on cbeeebies by a country mile. Very glad mine are too old for that now.

Mind you most of cbeeebies used to be quite good, better than most slightly older children's programmes or at least less in need of individual monitoring.

I had fond childhood memories of Topsy and Tim books but my mum sent me one for my kids years ago ago and it's the only book I've ever thrown in the paper recycling, it was so incredibly irritating, worthy, wet, and generally rage inducing. The catch phrase it the end makes me want to wash out my ears with bleach. Argh.

It's very annoying. YANBU

blueskiesandforests · 10/08/2018 11:56

There probably isn't anything worse than sponge Bob Square pants though, once your 2 year old is 7 or 8... Unless it's that bloody cartoon with the mermaid and the shark, or that thing with the gigantic fleas in a house... I've banned those, purely because they annoy me so much.

Jmoorey31 · 10/08/2018 12:00

Theirs worse, show me show me on cbeebies is just god awful I’ve never seen so much rubbish. My daughter seems to like it at 6am in the morning and it just grates on me!

AlbusSeverusMalfoy · 10/08/2018 12:05

BING BLOODY BUNNY! if my toddler did the things he did it certainly wouldn't be a 'insert name' thing!

Topsy and Tim give me the rage. Who nanes the kid Topsy any way?

WarPigeon · 10/08/2018 12:13

I hated them with a passion, luckily my two little ones where not that keen either!

There’s worse, there used to be a giggling chubby and toothless toddler at the end of the cow and gate adverts.... I have no idea why but that child infuriated me every time I saw him.

Givemeacookie · 10/08/2018 12:14

Just watched the one where the interfering granny comes over and nicks the dogs treat Tupperware for a pissing memory box and they just fill it with shit and then start digging up holes all over the garden. Now I'm watching the one where the rabbit scratches their friend.... omfg lord give me strength I nearly threw my cuppa at the telly what an absolute baby!! Ugh.

Yes! I hate Topsy and Tim with a passion! I have an irrational hate for the actual children Topsy and Tim though!

I also hate Andy from Andy's adventures - I think he's a liar. He always screws up somehow and then covers his tracks instead of owning up.... grrr

SnugglySnerd · 10/08/2018 12:17

Yes it's terrible but compared with Waffle the fucking Wonder dog it's like an exciting quality drama!

newyearwhoohoo · 10/08/2018 12:18

Just wait till they're teenagers. I get The Simpsons and "Doh!" and Lisa Simpson's high pitched voice all day long Angry

blueskiesandforests · 10/08/2018 12:20

I liked show me show me Blush Something Special was my favourite - I used to record it and stick it on between 5am and 6am for my bright and cheerful 5am waking tiny toddler dc1 when I was heavily pregnant with dc2 - I credit Justin with the amazing for her age vocabulary she had by the time dc2 was born Grin

Topsy and Tim though - unbearable.

The kid actors were about 9 and playing 3 year olds too. It should only ever have been done as a cartoon.

Theladygardenofeden · 10/08/2018 12:20

Topsy and Tim wind me up more because they aren't even actual twins!! (Which I know is irrational and stupid) There must be some boy/girl twin actors that could play the roles somewhere! Angry

'And "that" said Mummy, "was that".
Oh, do fuck off.

ALongHardWinter · 11/08/2018 03:27

Thank fuck my DGD is now too old for that 'Wooly and Tig' shite. Christ,I hated that programme. Even the theme tune set my teeth on edge.

Greenyogagirl · 11/08/2018 03:36

I love topsy and tim! I want to live with them Grin

LogicMakesSense · 11/08/2018 04:47

"Are you good at wememberwing" arghhh fuck off!

Funny how people hate bing too and topsy is one of the voices though I forget which one.

I can't stand waffle the dog or Pokemon.

Frusso · 11/08/2018 06:26

I have 2 close in age, then a big gap and a younger one. The younger one has never watched any of these. No fireman Sam, no topsy and tim, no bing, no night garden.

I had to endure them with the older ones, and there was no way I was doing it again.

They really aren't essential.

Rednaxela · 11/08/2018 06:37

Not essential?!

Stopping the tantrumming is essential, I am a broken woman.

Topsy and bloody Tim. Daddy comes in from work goes straight to the kitchen ignores both of them running after him shouting Daddy Daddy! Cold hearted bastard doesn't even make eye contact!

Whereas Mummy comes home gets down on her knees to hug them both and says I missed you both so much!

Boak!!

kiabella · 11/08/2018 06:37

Kept wondering why my 3 year old kept saying “I miss our old house” when we moved. Never acted like she missed it infaxt she loves the new house.
Until I heard topsy and fucking Tim say exactly the same bloody thing 😡😡😡

TheMinkette · 11/08/2018 06:54

Snap Kiabella - I banned my 3 year old DD from watching it after she started saying “I’ve got a tummy ache” when she didn’t want to do something like that whinger Tim.

HulaMelody · 11/08/2018 07:19

It’s the end credits, the screeched “and the FUN WILL NEVER END...” never start, more like.

Although we were gifted some of the books for our DDs and the one with the police is unintentionally funny. I kept rooting for their ‘bad’ classmate who was cheeking the officers Grin

Raspberryberetthekindyoufind · 11/08/2018 07:41

Twintastic Tim and Twinfablous topsy of something like that Angry and don’t get me started on Mrs hiddleypiddley

Raspberryberetthekindyoufind · 11/08/2018 07:42

I also think Joyce is on Prozac and cracks out the Gin when the twins are in bed

Raver84 · 11/08/2018 07:44

I absolutely hate the programme . There seems to be only a handful of episodes. Moving house. Visiting dad's office. Starting school. I hate the sad music that is played when Tim feels upset. I hate the mum and the jolly never stressed dad and the thoughtful grandma and neighbour Mr fenn. Wankers.
