Does it annoy anyone else or is just me? People who feel like they can do what they like, when and how they like regardless and seem to think the world owes them a favour?

This week i have comea aross so many assholes eg; Parking on yellow lines/double parking on busy roads causing mayhem for everyone, the assholes of park in disabled spots, people who try and cross the road even though there are traffic lights a few meters away, people who try and push in ques or push and shove their way through in general, i could go on...

Rant over but does anyone else feel like this or are you one of the people who do these things, if so then why?

It can be hard though if your not expecting it, like if they pull out in front of you etc

Don't worry backtobasics, I feel the same sometimes. DH laughs at me because I get really indignant and shrill. Some t*ssers were shouting at me as they went past in a car (6 months pg and walking with my DH) and I was just like "How dare they! How dare people like that exist in my life!" And I hate bad service or when things aren't exactly as I expect they should be!

Driving is the worst time I get bothered though - going to really have to curb my potty mouth when this baby is born!

Sometimes you just have to let it all out!

My biggest bug bear is people who tailgate you on the motorway when you are not going fast enough! Some twat nearly ran me off the road the other day (I wasn't even going slowly - 80 odd mph on a dual carriageway - how fast did he want to go?) And when I eventually pulled over to let him past (as he missed my car by inches!) I saw go up to the next car and intimidate that one in the same way! Grrr!

I think if you are having a bad day anyway you notice these things more and store them all up. But that's why you have MN to come and vent it all out!

I had a guy in a Merc do that to me. It was on a 2 lane stretch on the A1 just past Weatherby (three lanes now), I was over taking a truck procession at around 80, and he was right up my ass.
Pulled in front of the truck at the front of the queue, he went racing off.
Imgaine my amusement, when 15 minutes later, I catch up with said Merc - he was sat on the hard shoulder of the three lane bit near Knaresborough having been pulled by Mr. Plod. There is justice in this universe!

Motorway driving doesn't bother me, infact it's the only kind of driving i like doing. If i am on the motorway in the outside lane and see in my mirror a car coming up behind me at a speed i pull over into the next lane straight away if i can so he can go past.

There are plenty of people like that. Thankfully there are plenty of the other type too. It only gets to me when I'm already feeling down/tired/pre-menstrual. I usually go for a run/do yoga/have a bath and go to bed/have a drink. Any or all of those help

When i was 7 mths pregant i was pulling out onto a busy roundabout and the man behind me decided to pull out too and tried to overtake me on my right and he hit my car. He had a child in the car too, wanker!

Yes BtoB I could have started this thread. I get really wound up when driving in particular. Also the woman next door works from home and has her radio on all day with her windows open. I would just like to go into my garden and not have to listen to her noise

Furrymummy · 01/06/2007 12:53

Fio - IKWYM, I've become less impatient about other's bad driving since becoming pregnant!
