Purely because I’m nosy- and always fascinated by those “what’s in the fridge” things in women’s mags.

ScienceIsTruth · 01/08/2018 13:32

@Ada, lol, it is a lovely roomy fridge/freezer. Much bigger than I thought an American style one could be! Also saves me going shopping too often.

@SluttyButty, yes, the alcohol in mine has been there months in some cases.

@Ski4130, I get the teen obsession thing too, as I bought the 3 packs of stuffed vine leaves about 4 weeks ago for my 16yo dd.

She only likes the ones from Lidl and it isn't that local to us so I don't go there very often, (next town over).
As I was in the area, I thought I'd stock up on them for the summer as she likes having them for lunch with some mozzarella and tomatoes.

She's been mad on them for months, and I normally can't buy her enough of them, only for her to tell me, when I was unpacking them, that she doesn't fancy them anymore (but she "might later, so don't eat them all!").

Luckily, they're in date until the end of August.

I actually opened a pack last night and they're really nice, so I may just finish them all before she decides she wants them again! Wink

@ScienceIsTruth - it's the look that goes with the 'I don't like these anymore' that floors me, as if they hadn't eaten a hundred weight of said food right up until that point when you give in and bulk buy it :-)

@AdaColeman - I'm a dijon on everything type, dh however will try mustards like other people appreciate wine. He's obsessed (I know exactly where the teen gets his food obsessions from!)
