What is this on DP's legs?

Does anyone know what this could be on DP's legs? Started on his foot and seems to be spreading up his leg. Been a few days now! Really itchy.

TIA

Looks like eczema to me, but I may be wrong. Mine often flares in the heat, and it looks like it may be where sock elastic sits?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/07/2018 16:33

Well unless a GP comes on i dont It think any of us could positively say what it is but If I had to guess. It looks like psoriasis to me. My nan had it.
However I can't remember if it made her itchy or not.

Hont1986 · 30/07/2018 16:34

Has he been scratching it? The smaller ones look like bug bites to me, the large bit looks like a cluster of them he's been scratching.

WhiteCoyote · 30/07/2018 16:36

Is it ringworm possibly?

TakeMeToKernow · 30/07/2018 16:43

My vote is scabies!

Ohmydays18 · 30/07/2018 16:45

Thanks! I thought maybe bites too but wouldn't I be bit all over too?

Flea bites?

Some people seem to get bitten whilst other avoid bites altogether!

sonicshoegazes · 30/07/2018 16:49

Cellulitis maybe?

jammydodger5 · 30/07/2018 17:59

Could it be psoriasis?

FelicityFoxworth · 30/07/2018 18:05

That's a psoriasis patch I think

HardAsSnails · 30/07/2018 18:06

My first thought is psoriasis too.

Anythingforacatslife · 30/07/2018 18:09

My Dh has this occasionally, his is an allergy to latex so not sure that helps! A GP, nurse or pharmacist needs to look at it.

aperolspritzplease · 30/07/2018 18:10

Psoriasis

BehindLockNumberNine · 30/07/2018 18:10

I have psoriasis. Looks very similar!

picklemepopcorn · 30/07/2018 18:12

Does he get dishydrrotic eczema (pompholx)? I've got little patches like that on my arms and legs, starts as a tiny raised bump, intensely itchy.

I'm trying out hydrocortisone at the moment to see if it helps.

Seacow87 · 30/07/2018 18:13

Did the large bit arrive first... if so goodie Herald patch.

Seacow87 · 30/07/2018 18:13

Sorry google*

Phosphom · 30/07/2018 18:14

I think it's psoriasis

notenoughbottletonight · 30/07/2018 18:16

Definitely looks like psoriasis to me too. My friend suffers badly with it and this looks exactly the same.

ThePrioryGhost · 30/07/2018 18:19

Looks like psoriasis to me too - my DN’s knuckles look just like that. Has he ever had it before?

Toastandjam16 · 30/07/2018 18:29

I've got something like this but just red dry patches, not with the white bits, and not itchy. Any ideas from people who've seen things like this?

picklemepopcorn · 30/07/2018 18:51

Is it psoriasis if the spots don't get any bigger!

Brigante9 · 30/07/2018 18:59

Have you got cats/dogs? I get bites on my ankles, I sit near the dog bed. Looks like bites to me. Hydrocortisone cream to stop the itching.

Scabies is quite easy to diagnose, you can see little ‘tunnels’, usually on hands.

Eczema seems to usually be confined to hands/feet/wrist/elbow kind of area. If it’s pompholyx eczema, it starts with what looks like holes under the skin, tapioca like clusters, then blisters, but very much a foot/hand thing.

Lunde · 30/07/2018 19:06

It could be - guttate psoriasis is characterised by lots of tiny spots.

OP I think the best thing is if your DP goes to the GP - it looks like psoriasis but there are other things it could be

Brigante9 · 30/07/2018 19:06

@picklemepopcorn See my thread on it in Sporners Corner. I’m 4 weeks into chronic pompholyx on hands and feet, needed an overnight stay in A&E. So far, soaking my feet, popping blisters and using a LOT of moisturiser has reduced the itching. White cotton gloves over layers of thick cream like Sudocreme is good. I’m trying to lay off the hydrocortisone/chemicals.

Throughout the day, I’m using Child’s Farm moisturiser.
