I really hate being @‘d

I don’t want to delete the ability to be notified of someone’s reponse because sometimes it’s reallt useful.

But 90% of the time someone is @‘ing me on here with a pointless reponse.

I’m getting an email to tell me that someone on Mumsnet just replies “Yes.”

No need. I only @ someone if I feel is important, or I believe could be helpful.

Am I the only one?

It is a bit odd. However I don’t say enough interesting things to be pinged regularly 😀

I keep getting notifications for someone else, who has a name similar to one I used to have. People abbreviate her name in their tags so I get the notifications. That is a bit annoying, especially as I haven't used that name for years

I get all notifications whether I'm @d or not and it's annoying. I keep meaning to disable email notifications.

Yes, I wish there was a way to turn off the notifications.

I switched it off as soon as it started.

I also hate PMs. Wish they could be switched off too.
