DH has announced that the house will stay like this while England remain in the tournament.

Edit - how do you post pics?

My fucking house is covered in England flags. I. Am. Fucking. Fuming

Erm... chavtastic. Agree with Incy, burn them!

randomchap · 25/06/2018 17:00

What's the problem? As long as he's the one putting them up and taking them down, how does it impact your life?

BastardGoDarkly · 25/06/2018 17:01

They won't be in it long Wink

Fuming why?

TwitterQueen1 · 25/06/2018 17:01

I see nothing wrong with this at all. But then I am someone who used to put thousands of Christmas lights up (outside).

Why don't you like them?

Timeisslippingaway · 25/06/2018 17:01

Take them down! Why do people ever put flags up on their houses?

Oopsy41 · 25/06/2018 17:01

Sorry, I don't see the problem either, it's only for a few weeks

MeMyselfand · 25/06/2018 17:01

😂😂 can you see out the windows? Aww I would let him enjoy it. What's wrong with him having them up?

BastardGoDarkly · 25/06/2018 17:02

Grin He really has gone for it hasn't he?

Meh, it's the world cup, and his house too, chill out.

mzsink · 25/06/2018 17:04

If it was another flag it would be ok 😉

araiwa · 25/06/2018 17:04

Are you scottish?

Elllicam · 25/06/2018 17:05

Is that essentially your whole windows covered? Grin I wouldn’t be too keen either!

Rachie1973 · 25/06/2018 17:07

It'll be over by 15th July, probably long before that for England. Apart from the windows my DH has the flags out again.

femidom12 · 25/06/2018 17:16

Er it's not because you're Polish is it? Grin

sexnotgender · 25/06/2018 17:17

Does he always behave in such a chavtastic fashion?

Fintress · 25/06/2018 17:20

Personally I'd be mortified and rip them down!

Leeds2 · 25/06/2018 17:21

I certainly wouldn't be bothered putting up flags myself, but if my partner wanted to go to the bother I wouldn't stop him. As long as they were taken down promptly !

Fairenuff · 25/06/2018 17:21

I think local bylaws say that flags can only be flown if attached to a flagpole so you could always anonymously report him and the council will make him take them down.

LaCucarachaa · 25/06/2018 17:21

Nothing wrong with it really other than the fact its a bit tacky to look at. I wouldn't have an issue with a flag or two in the garden but this is just ugly Confused

Alwayscommuting · 25/06/2018 17:22

I would hate that but I live in a rough(ish) part of Scotland and my house would be torched.

AForegoneConclusion · 25/06/2018 17:22

Oh god no. I would love out GrinConfused
Yanbu at all.

AForegoneConclusion · 25/06/2018 17:22

Love out? Move out

Loonoon · 25/06/2018 17:22

I am not a sport fan and I’m not English but I love the atmosphere when the national team is doing well at soccer or rugby and it’s the only time I like to see houses dectorated with flags. Leave them alone.

RhiWrites · 25/06/2018 17:23

Can't he just put them up on game days? The whole time is too much. Plus they'll get blown away. It's still England even in a heatwave.
