I have a breast pump for sale, so knew I might have some weird responses but this really did confuse me.

Man called whilst I was in the Drs surgery sounded very professional in his approach like he worked in a call centre. My immediate thought was that he was going to try and persuade me to advertise elsewhere. In fact he wanted to know how big the bit you put your boob into is as his wife is very large chested. I said sorry can you call back in an hour or so when I'm home & I'll take a look at the box for you.

He phoned back precisely an hour later and spoke to me for a further 15 minutes about the size of his wife's boobs, areoles, how she'd been intimidated by a man in a waiting room & didn't want to BF in public anymore. He kept on about how big her boobs were, asked me how big mine were apologised when I wasn't keen to answer!!! I gave him advice to pass on about how to use the pump, reassured him that all the instructions were included & gave him details of some local BF support groups and said he could have a microwave steriliser FOC.

He wanted to come & collect it after work, said that he worked nearby & would be about 6. Thanked me for all my help, then said he would text me for my address. I knew I'd never hear from him again before I put the phone down. WTF??!!!

Well, obviously he's completely perving over the thought of breastfeeding (95% likely?) or he's an over-invested New Man/New Daddy type who is very keen to take an equal share in everything, including breastfeeding pumps (5% likely) and was trying to show he genuinely had a bf partner and wasn't a pervert, hence the detail.

I personally wouldn't give him your address even if he unlikely rings up again. (erring on the side of caution and all). Tell him it's been promised to someone else and end the call quickly.

A bit odd for a man to be making that call I would have thought - even a new age one. Some guys do get off on lactating women so maybe that was his fetish... in any event you didn’t give out your address so I doubt you’re going to encounter him again.

I binned mine to be honest OP and it was a very good make too. I considered trying to sell it, but with the minefield that is contamination/infection/sterilisation especially where new borns and old milk are concerned, I just didn't want the worry.
