To be pissed off at the return of AF

Nooooooooo just went to the loo and discovered my period is back less than 5 months after having baby. Last time I was blissfully period free for 14 months. Both babies EBF. Sad times.

Curious to know how long others went before AF reared her ugly head again?

Count yourself lucky. Was 28 days for me and I was EBF.

Dd1- 6 weeks, dd2, i had a mirena at 9 months, so it was years!!! Dd2 was a much bigger, hungrier baby so i guess that was the difference. Both ebf.

I was 5/6 months too and DS was my first! Gutted. I breastfed until he was 12 months but he was sleeping through from 2 months so i was told that was why :(

I was a hormonal mess though. Was much more balanced when my periods returned.

I have a 5 month old, I express as she is tube fed and I've thought period has started a few times but it hasn't appeared properly? (No I'm not pregnant!!)

Bf for 9 months. Af returned 3 months later. I remember it vividly. DD was I'll in hospital and I was on this horrific fold down bed next to her cot. Totally unprepared for it and how bad it was compared to pre child 😱

2 years both times! Just had my first period, DS2 just turned 2!

Who's AnyFucker?

I got my period within five weeks after giving birth after both pregnancies. Even when ebf. Bummer.

The only people I know who call it Aunt Flo are people too old to have a period anymore, because they grew up in the age of menstruation shame.

8 weeks exactly, I'd love to have gone even 3 months without my period returning.

Exactly the same as you. 14 months after dd1 and 5 months after dd2. Both EBF but they have had very different drinking patterns.
