Shopping online for a new mattress for Ds1, some recommendations at the foot of tha page "you may also like" - and this was one of them:

luxury mattress

Who would pay this much?? Or am I a cheapskate with my £200 budget? The reviews are hilarious 😂😂

Wtf that’s insane 😂

Hidillyho · 17/06/2018 20:25

I definitely wouldn’t pay that much (as I couldn’t afford it)
Mattresses are something that I think you should pay as much as you can afford for one though

dementedpixie · 17/06/2018 20:26

I'll have 4 of these please!

Who pays this for a mattress??
Nanasueathome · 17/06/2018 20:27

It’s eligible for their interest free credit though

Butterflykissess · 17/06/2018 20:28

ermm Confused

o0o0o · 17/06/2018 20:28

Blush I paid nearly that much. I think it was 12.. bloody lovely though.

MissClareRemembers · 17/06/2018 20:29

Hmmm...interest free credit you say?

I bet it’s glorious to sleep on. 😴 💤

SoddingUnicorns · 17/06/2018 20:30

That looks incredible though!

SamHeughansLeftEyebrow · 17/06/2018 20:30

Knowing my luck, my cat would piss on it the first night.

iwishicouldbelikedavidwatts · 17/06/2018 20:32

:D snap

ManchesterGin · 17/06/2018 20:33

Imagine the comfort ...... Smile

PineappleExpress · 17/06/2018 20:33

I would love to try it out for a few months.
If I could afford it, and it was as comfortable as I would expect for that price, I probably would

Munchyseeds · 17/06/2018 20:34

Its not the most expensive one either...that comes in at £18000Grin....must go to John Lewis and have a lie down!

Imchlibob · 17/06/2018 20:34

If I had the money I totally would. You only have one back, it had to last a lot of years and the quality of your mattress is going to have a huge effect on how long it lasts.

I forked out £3k for a mattress and don't regret that for a second but there are several levels up in quality that I couldn't stretch to.

SparklyLeprechaun · 17/06/2018 20:34

It's a lot of money, but if you can afford it, why not? A good mattress and well fitting shoes are essential for me.

Myotherusernameisbest · 17/06/2018 20:35

Omg! Thats insane. That's more than the entire contents of my house I reckon!

Almostthere15 · 17/06/2018 20:35

There's a long way between 200 and 12000 though isn't there. I would pay around 1500 for a good mattress. But if money was no object then I'd happily pay that if it was comfy!

9amTrain · 17/06/2018 20:36

For that price it better cure my sleep apnoea!!

ThePinkOcelot · 17/06/2018 20:37

God, how can they justify that price? What does it do?

Sebbies · 17/06/2018 20:38

@o0o0o you paid 12k for a mattress? Like 12 thousand pounds? Shock

I thought I’d lost my mind when I paid £600!

clary · 17/06/2018 20:40

LOL @ interest free credit!

I agree it's worth spending on your mattress, but that's more than my car cost! German people all sleep on the floor and they seem healthy.

Anyway it's for DS1 (19yo) and if I spend too much he'll never get out of bed again 😂😂

I paid £3500 for our kingsize about 5 years ago. It's still in amazing condition. I live that you can't even feel the other person get in and out of bed or turn over. Very very comfortable.

£14000 nope. I think 5k is as high as I would ever go (and as I'm currently a sahp it'll be a long long time before I old ever afford that!)

o0o0o · 17/06/2018 20:46

Yeeeeee it's a humongous custom made one as DH is pretty tall. We wanted a Savoir bed but couldn't stretch that far (starts around £50000 so I hear ) zoiks!! Grin
