Can I park here or would it make me a CF?

Visiting DH parents... its park here or park most of the street away.

DH chose far away. But come on, that is not a driveway.

Can I park here or would it make me a CF?

😂😂😂

CigarsofthePharoahs · 17/06/2018 12:54

Technically no, that's not a driveway.
But why do something that you know is going to really annoy someone?

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/06/2018 12:56

To be able to park at our destination? I wouldn’t go out of my way to drive here just to annoy strangers Grin

I don’t understand. Is that your car?
If so, don’t be such a dickhead.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/06/2018 12:57

No, that’s not our car. We were looking for a space and DH wouldn’t park there because it was ‘blocking someone’s drive’

This person is a CF. They are breaking the law driving across the pavement without a dropped kerb. If they want to park in their "drive" they should pay for a dropped kerb like everyone else does.

Emma198 · 17/06/2018 12:57

It's a stranger's front path whether they use it to park or not you can't park on it 😂😂 This is a joke after Friday's threads surely.

Ipdipme · 17/06/2018 12:58

Of course it’s a drive. All the drives around here are like this.

You would be a CF to park on someone’s private land that is clearly not a public parking space.

antebellumwannabes · 17/06/2018 12:58

Well it's not your destination it's someone else's house. If your to lazy to walk from a street away get your partner to drop you off then he can park up and walk back.
You'll only cause grief parking there so what's the point, grow up!

Emma198 · 17/06/2018 12:58

Oh right. I've misunderstood 🙄 so you want to block their car in because it's not technically a drive? I'd rather have the walk than face the confrontation.

Ipdipme · 17/06/2018 12:59

... aside from the lack of dropped kerb of course. But that means you should definitely NOT drive over the pavement onto it!

MadMags · 17/06/2018 12:59

So you want to block them from being able to get out?

Again, don’t be a dickhead.

DevilsDoorbell · 17/06/2018 12:59

Is that your dh’s parenst house or one of their neighbours?

Sofabitch · 17/06/2018 12:59

No dropped kerb so I'd park there.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/06/2018 12:59

I swear this isn’t a joke... this is the house two doors or so down from PIL (a road that is a nightmare to park on) We have presents, birthday cake, two kids and a dog and I found it annoying that DH felt we couldn’t park there (almost right outside) and instead parked about 400 houses away Hmm

OP posts:
Ratarse · 17/06/2018 12:59

Op knew there would be high 'traffic' for a cf parking thread.

Ipdipme · 17/06/2018 13:00

Ahhhh unless you mean to block that person in?

If you did that you’d not be a CF... you’d be a monumental twat.

Knittedfairies · 17/06/2018 13:00

Why would you deliberately park behind someone else, even if the kerb isn’t dropped?

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/06/2018 13:00

Having a bad day MadMags? Hmm

OP posts:
DevilsDoorbell · 17/06/2018 13:00

Just read the other posts. Yabu and a dick. Your dh was right

MadMags · 17/06/2018 13:01

Why don’t you just bloody explain properly instead of a series of half-arsed posts dripping information.

How attention-seeking! 🙄

Emma198 · 17/06/2018 13:01

DH should have parked there for 2 mins emptied the car then one of you moved it to a less controversial space.

19lottie82 · 17/06/2018 13:01

Of course it’s a drive.

Nope. No dropped kerb so it’s not a drive.

I would park there as long as you allow them enough room to get out.

If there isn’t enough room then I wouldn’t park there, no. You’re not doing anything illegal BUT do you really want to piss someone off / risk an argument or your car being damaged?

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/06/2018 13:01

I have no idea what you mean. It was blatantly clear from the first post.

OP posts:
MadMags · 17/06/2018 13:02

Clearly no, or people wouldn’t have been looking for clarification. SMH.
