To give DP a handbag

Does anyone else have a partner who tries to put all their crap in your handbag when you’re going out?

We’re off to a party tonight and I am using a very naice little designer bag, DP is annoyed as he always tries to ram all his things into my handbag when we go out... keys, phone, chewing gum etc.
Bag nicely fits my phone, a house key, some money and a few bits of my makeup like powder and a lipstick but nothing more.
I’ve told him to carry his stuff himself but he thinks I should use a different bag to accommodate his stuff

No. This bag matches my outfit perfectly, I’m not a cart horse and he can get to fuck in my opinion.
What does he do when he goes out without me?
WIBU to give him another handbag and tell him to carry it himself?

If he has pockets tell him to put his phone and chewing gum in them...as you have the door key and to give you them money

No. I am not using my work handbag for a night out. I don’t care how practical it is 🤦🏼‍♀️

My OH will hand me his passport, ticket and car keys the second we walk into the airport. It pisses me off that I can be really organised yet still end up juggling umpteen bits of shite before heading for security.

He has been told to get to fuck several times. I’m tempted to shove some money down my bra, hide the house key under the flowerpot in the front garden and fuck my bag off completely just to prove a point

I don't mind carrying keys, money and phones for DH in my bag on a night out but he makes it even when he carries my huge fur coat and sparkly clutch bag while helping me hobble into a taxi

However if your bag only has room for your things then he can make use of the massive pot holes of pockets men get in their clothing! And yes I agree OP, he is a proper whiney little princess

I dont know why so few men carry a bag. I wouldnt be without mine. Moving stuff from pocket to pocket must be such a faff

Oh dear...haha I like to go out without a bag at all during the day etc. Stupid girl trousers etc have rubbish or no pockets at all so DP gets my phone and cash as he has lovely big proper sized pockets

Opposite problem in this house! I never want to take a bag with me (I find them really irritating and easy to lose on a night out) so I'm the one filling up DH pockets! 😂
