I work in a shop. I always park in the public carpark if there's space but of not I park behind my shop. It's awkward to get into which is why I prefer the carpark. My shop owns the land behind it.
Man from the other shop came to see me today and asked if the car behind my shop was mine. I replied yes and he said well would you mind moving it so I can park there? I dont want to get a ticket on the road. (Road A has double yellow lines)
Me: if I move back I'll be in someone else's space
Him: It's ok, no-one parks there.
M: that's our space though for the shop.
H: I know but the old manager let me park there.
M: old manager didn't drive, I do. Plus you'd be blocking me in and I leave before you.
H: well obviously all you have to do is come and tell me you're leaving and I'll let you out!
I really don't want to have to go to his shop every day, wait for him to lock up then move his car before I can go home but I don't know if I'm being petty? He wasn't very friendly which may be clouding my judgement. So aibu to still park there?
