Why ?? Are they changing it’s name to Sandwich Cream ????

104 years it’s been salad cream

Are they? What a waste of effort?!

I use to love it, but since they started using canola oil, I stopped buying it.

It’ll always be salad cream, whatever is written on the bottle :P

So people don't use it on salads so they are changing it to say sandwich cream? It's not sodding cream either is it?

To be fair I never put it on an actual salad. Crisp sandwich tick, cheese sandwich tick, egg mayo sandwich tick.

Fun fact: in America their equivalent is called Miracle Whip. So I'm told...

In fairness I put it in sandwiches far more often than I put it on salad. But I'm amazed they'd bother changing the name. Didn't Heinz threaten to get rid of it altogether a few years back?

Classic Coronation Street is a guilty pleasure of mine. Ivy Tilsey never fails to have a bottle of it on the table at every meal. Maybe they are trying to quietly kill off Sandwich Spread and think noone will notice because they are confused
