104 years it’s been salad cream

I miss sandwich spread. It was like shredded coleslaw with ham? Last time I had it was 1987 though...

I think potted meat is still a thing. Hopefully, anyway

I love sandwich spread I buy it once or twice a year as a treat. Love it on toast

Miracle Whip is absolutely NOT a brand of mayonnaise. Miracle Whip is in it's own category of sickly sweet, slimy white guk. Mayo is bad enough. Miracle Whip is disgusting.

I still have it on salads. Sandwich cream is bloody ridiculous.

I don't know why but Sandwich Cream makes me feel a bit queasy.

I HOPE this is like a few years ago when they said they were going to stop making it, to remind people about it and boost sales.

i had it on my dinner this evening, Cajun Chicken, Jacket potato, Salad, Salad cream. Mayo is VILE. I don't put it on sandwiches unless I am about to eat the sandwich immediately because slimy bread and filling is a vomworthy lunch

I'm as likely to have salad cream on salads as I am on sandwiches.

Does this mean the end of sachets of salad cream in cafes? As you'd hardly take a sandwich apart to add "sandwich cream", but you might still like some salad cream on your side-salad or even your chips. Hmmmm ..... chip cream .....

Heinz might change the name but most supermarkets do their own version, surely they won't change too? Currently salad cream is my main pregnancy craving, I eat it with almost every meal

I am hoping the recipe doesn't change. Heinz have changed it slightly over the years but I still use lots of it.

Is there another one that is any good ie: like Heinz?

How will they fit ‘sandwich’ on those awful small sachets I can’t open in cafes and service stations?

Haven't eaten it for 40+ years. Couldn't care less. So many bottles chucked out here after we had to get it in for In-Law visits.
