My Benefit Boi-ing has just ran out and frankly it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag.

Please recommend your best concealers for a pale brunette approaching forty. If it’s under £20 and freely available on the high street then so much the betterSmile

I think it's just over 20 quid but a tube lasts me about 6 months. Estee lauder double wear concealor. Covers everything!

happy2bhomely · 30/05/2018 12:17

Honestly one of the best for under my eyes is the Collection Lasting Perfection one. It is about £4 I think.

TheHandmaidsTale · 30/05/2018 12:18

Nars is pretty good!

OuchLegoHurts · 30/05/2018 12:19

A second vote for Estee Lauder double wear... It's the only brilliant one I've ever found. Worth every penny!

OuchLegoHurts · 30/05/2018 12:19

Oh and Nars!

LesAnya · 30/05/2018 12:20

Maybelline “fit me” is pretty good, as is the L’oreal True match

MintCassis · 30/05/2018 12:35

Clinique All About The Eyes concealer is £18. I've got a pale complexion too and the 01Light Neutral shade matches perfectly. It blends well and lasts ages.

Randomuser789 · 30/05/2018 12:36

For me makeup revolutions concealer (£4!!) is better than Estee Lauder’s double wear concealer. Available in Superdrug’s or their website where delivery is a couple of pounds.

LawDegreeBarbie · 30/05/2018 12:37

Collection Lasting Perfection. Its about £4. Or the Maybelline Age Defy one with the sponge head which is about £8. They blow high end concealers out of the water.

Estée Lauder have 15% off today if you are a new customer and sign up to their newsletter. Just ordered a tube of concealer plus three free samples for £20.40

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 30/05/2018 12:44

NARS is not under £20! I'd buy it all the time if it was

LokiBear · 30/05/2018 12:46

Estee Lauder. Its amazing. Just over £20 but lasts me at least 6 months.

Gagastwin · 30/05/2018 13:09

MAKEUP REVOLUTION!!!!

Gagastwin · 30/05/2018 13:10

I also love Tarte shape, on qvc

evergreen7 · 30/05/2018 13:12

Another one for the collection concealer at £4
It's amazing! especially considering the price.

Seren85 · 30/05/2018 13:21

I really like my new one from NYX. It is called something like HD photogenic. Blends easily, good colour match, not drying. Definately under £20.

Gagastwin · 30/05/2018 13:22

I used to think the collection one was brilliant but I don't anymore, some much better ones out there now. I find them very yellow toned too which is no good for my pale ass skin.

rosamore · 30/05/2018 13:55

I'll second the collection lasting perfection one! Estée Lauder double wear concealer is fantastic as well but £20 more (and honestly not much better - only difference might be a better colour match; as pp has said, they can be a bit yellow-y - works fine for me though and I'm very pale!).

icelollycraving · 30/05/2018 13:57

Revolution is v good and bargainous.

BeckettsandChapel · 30/05/2018 13:57

The revolution conceal and define is a tarte shape tape dupe for £4 and the collection lasting perfection one is £4.19 and is amazing

namastayinbed · 30/05/2018 14:02

I came on to say boi-iing!

Tistheseason17 · 30/05/2018 14:19

Laura Mercier. 2 colours so good all yr round. Amaaazing coverage - I'm really spotty and this gets it all! Prob more than £20 but I've had for a year and still going..

isthismummy · 30/05/2018 16:18

Thanks everyone.

Looks like Estée Lauder and Collection are the front runners so farSmile I did used to be devoted to the Estée Lauder counter before I had boring things like bills to pay for.

Some really good (and cheap suggestions though) I shall go forth and experiment. Really want something that isn’t chalky as that was a problem I found with the Boi-ing. It didn’t do what it said on the tin. I normally love Benefit, but not on this occasion.

Another collection vote and a tip that if you put it on with the integrated brush, blend it with a concealer brush. Makes a huge difference to staying power.
