My Benefit Boi-ing has just ran out and frankly it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag.

Please recommend your best concealers for a pale brunette approaching forty. If it’s under £20 and freely available on the high street then so much the betterSmile

Everyone who is saying the Collection one, that brand has been discontinued in Boots Sad it was my favourite concealer too.

Primark's little stick one My Perfect Colour is actually good for 90p!!!

RedPandaMama · 30/05/2018 17:51

IGNORE THAT it's actually Seventeen that has been discontinued my sister just informed me, hooray!

TheFormidableMrsC · 30/05/2018 17:52

Haven't read the whole thread so don't know if it's been mentioned but Radiance Reveal by Bourjois is my all time favourite. Such good value, you only need a tiny tiny bit, exceptionally good with any sort of under eye dryness. It took years off me. I have tried them all!

Amanduh · 30/05/2018 17:54

The collection one, maybelline fit me

evergreen7 · 30/05/2018 20:51

@RedPandaMama I buy mine from Superdrug.

XiCi · 30/05/2018 20:54

Love Maybelline Fit Me. Am a convert after years of spending £££ on concealers

Lana1234 · 30/05/2018 20:59

Another vote for collection, great stuff for so cheap!

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 30/05/2018 21:03

Art Deco concealer. Its very thick but works miracles, and you can blend it with moisturiser for a lighter effect.

Inglot's under eye concealer for anything else.

Do you have Inglot in the UK? I bloody love their primer/foundation/powder range. I'd put it over YSL or Estee Lauder anyday. Their matte lip glosses are unreal.

stayathomer · 30/05/2018 21:06

Collection Lasting Perfection from Boots (agreeing with all above!!). Has beaten a lot of high end ones. The Maybelline erase rewind (or something to that effect), is meant to be very good too!

DinoSn0re · 30/05/2018 21:08

Vichy Dermablend

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 30/05/2018 21:09

It’s 50p over your budget but I swear by this Clinique one. www.boots.com/clinique-airbrush-concealer-all-skin-types

Tiredtomybones · 30/05/2018 21:13

No7 colour match.

InDubiousBattle · 30/05/2018 21:14

I use Natural Collection one from Boots, it's about £2! I wish I'd tried it first after spending a small fortune over the years.

Sparkletastic · 30/05/2018 21:18

Maybelline Fit Me and Maybelline Age Rewind. Didn't get on with the Collection one at all.

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 30/05/2018 22:56

Double wear here too

That said it does still settle into my under eye fine lines. I'm still yet to find a concealer that doesn't to this.

It does cover up my panda eyes though.

LeighaJ · 30/05/2018 22:58

I like the clickable Aldi brand one I bought, but I like most things I buy there. Except the angel slices they taste off to me

PurpleTigerLove · 30/05/2018 23:00

I buy the £1 one from super drug . Does the job

RoseRuby26 · 30/05/2018 23:14

I used to use double wear but I also found it settled into lines and was quite drying. I now prefer a MAC one in a pump bottle

m.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/13844/10181/products/makeup/face/concealer/pro-longwear-concealer#/shade/NC15

I also sometimes use a clinique click-pen one that is much lighter in texture so easier when you're in a rush etc.

PurpleTigerLove · 30/05/2018 23:19

I don’t think you can tell if someone is wearing expensive or cheap makeup . I doubt I’d look any better if the contents of my makeup bag cost hundreds . I think it’s huge con 😜

whywhywhywhywhyyy · 30/05/2018 23:22

Urban Decay Naked concealer.

eloisesparkle · 30/05/2018 23:32

Revlon YouthFX

EllenOlenska · 30/05/2018 23:35

I use Collection undereye illuminating one and love it. I usually top up when superdrug do their 3 for two so get 3 for about a tenner! I use shade no.2 and it works well with my Estee double wear foundation.

Interested to hear from anyone who has used the pink version of the illuminating range or the colour correction range Collection (those ones that come in lilac/green and yellow) though.

Gagastwin · 30/05/2018 23:39

@Menarefrommarsitwouldseem put a powder over the concealer for 30secs gently wipe off with a brush and set with setting spray. Do it asap and it won't crease.

TheFormidableMrsC · 31/05/2018 21:19

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem

The Radiance Reveal stuff I recommended above doesn't settle into fine lines, that is why I love it. That was the problem I had.

BarryTheKestrel · 31/05/2018 21:22

Coming to add a vote for collection lasting perfection. Cheap and cheerful but does the job very very well.
