AIBU To think Victoria Beckham is a right mardy, stroppy looking mare. Anybody see the way she was looking out the corner of her eye at the crowds. Not a hint of a smile.

"pics" not "picks".

Wellthisisawkwardnow · 24/05/2018 03:39

Think the DM knows something we don't - anyone seen the influx of articles today about David...

AntiqueSinger · 24/05/2018 06:26

I think they are aware of something. It is sad if this is what she's been putting up with.

StealthPolarBear · 24/05/2018 06:31

I've just had a look and apparently she and their children were there too, how bad can it have been?

EachandEveryone · 24/05/2018 06:58

Well I imagine they would’ve all gone to bed. I knew someone in a band who thought nothing of carrying on in hotels with wife inbed.

StealthPolarBear · 24/05/2018 07:01

How old are the dc now? Are they all adults or nearly?

Hushnownobodycares · 24/05/2018 07:06

Only one is over 18. The rest are teens and the littlest is six or so.

Why do I even know this stuff?!

traciebanbanjo · 24/05/2018 07:48

The Soho farmhouse place is acres and acres! Db could have been miles away "Having fun" with young models while Victoria is with the kids.

Funny how people that have met or worked with her speak very highly of her, not so much for him.

Dancingtothebeat · 24/05/2018 08:11

In fairness, there have been several stories before about DB and VB being out with the kids but as soon as VB and the kids go home he’s all over some woman.

GladAllOver · 24/05/2018 08:21

Does she actually do all the fashion designs?
Many celeb named products just use their name to push the product. She might just overlook the work of a professional designer.

Dancingtothebeat · 24/05/2018 08:26

glad, there were rumours Roland Mouret did them.

QueenofWhisperz · 24/05/2018 08:31

I ran into her once at a children's club; she was super nice.

She started the conversation, asked me about my child, who was playing with her daughter. I'm shy at the best of times so I avoided eye contact and mumbled my responses wishing the whole thing would end so I could keep hiding in my corner of anonymity. When she left, I suddenly became the most popular mother in the room (to my absolute horror).

Her daughter is always kind to my children and plays very nicely. Alas, as our socio-economic divide increase our crossing paths decrease.

EachandEveryone · 24/05/2018 09:00

That’s lovely to know she goes to kids clubs. I can’t even visualise that! My friend has done jobs for them for the children and only speaks highly of them. So they are either genuine or very good actors.

caperberries · 24/05/2018 09:12

She comes across well, IMO. It's DB that I can't stand

dawnmist · 24/05/2018 09:26

Why hasn't she left him, i'd have left him after the first time he screwed around. Is "Brand Beckham" more important. Life's short, if i was her, i'd show him the door and start enjoying myself. The huge advantage of course being that she's got the money to do it. Only then will the two timing bastard get his come uppance.

Cousinit · 24/05/2018 09:45

Biding her time, hopefully. I can't stand DB either.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 24/05/2018 09:46

Plenty of people don’t leave.

It’s probably fuck all to do with brand beckham bollocks and ultimately her business, nobody else’s.

dawnmist · 24/05/2018 09:56

Well yes we know it's their business but of course we do discuss celebrities don't we. Isn't that what they do, sell stories, make big money and have the public talk about them?

dawnmist · 24/05/2018 09:58

So much for girl power.

Dancingtothebeat · 24/05/2018 10:06

The saddest thing about VB, was something she said in an interview after DB had the affair with Loos.

She said ‘I know that I have the most faithful husband it is possible for me to have.’ Then looked really sad.

A lot of people took that as her saying she thought he hadn’t cheated. I thought it meant she knew he was cheating, but it was impossible for her to have a more faithful husband because she only wanted him. Sad

RoseWhiteTips · 24/05/2018 10:08

Actually, despite her unsmiling face, I prefer Victoria to DB. For what it’s worth, I love her style and her fashion brand - even if others are involved as I imagine they are in every fashion house.

In contrast, the image I have of him presently, is of a gum-chewing individual, tattoos creeping up his neck, grinning inanely in a church on a formal occasion. He is awful and increasingly the cracks in the image are starting to show.

I recall also his inelegant tantrum when he did not receive the knighthood to which he felt he was untitled.

He makes me cringe.

dawnmist · 24/05/2018 10:19

I can't stand the pair of them. Not my kind of people. They both come across as rather shallow money grabbers, and think nothing of using their children as commodities to rake even more in. They've had their huge fame and fortune, wouldn't you think they'd be content now to just enjoy their family, with the freedom to do whatever they want with their huge fortune. The true meaning of life still seems to be beyond their grasp.

derxa · 24/05/2018 10:27

The true meaning of life still seems to be beyond their grasp. What the hell is "the true meaning of life"?

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 24/05/2018 10:51

Well yes we know it's their business but of course we do discuss celebrities don't we. Isn't that what they do, sell stories, make big money and have the public talk about them?

Yep, and anyone who isn’t them or very close to them is talking out of their arse.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 24/05/2018 10:58

I think she doesn’t like her smile. She’s clearly had some cosmetic dental work but, it’s the set of her jaw in smiling images which appears forced, rigid and like rigor has set in. Having said that, I don’t suppose there’s much she can do that doesn’t mean drastic surgical intervention, about her jaw alignment, when smiling. I have a droopy eye on my right side and always endeavour to be photographed from the left. It’s not the end of the world if I am shown in a “bad” light but, I prefer not to have it done, if poss. One eye is smaller than the other too. Nowt I can do about it. I think VB wants to be seen as perfect, at all costs on all occasions.

DB gets on my nerves a bit and his display of gum chewing inside the Chapel at Windsor. No. Bad form.
