AIBU To think Victoria Beckham is a right mardy, stroppy looking mare. Anybody see the way she was looking out the corner of her eye at the crowds. Not a hint of a smile.

She's been really open about the fact that she hates the way she looks when she smiles. She was known for her moody pout even from the first spice girls' video. This is not news. It's part of her brand. Let her get on with it!!

I do think she always looks po-faced and it seems to be her 'thing' but today she looked wretched. The camera panned onto them during the lovely cello music and she looked like she was fighting back tears. I felt really sorry for her (and I'm really not a fan of either of them).

It wasn’t her expression that bothered me rather- she’s a designer, she adores fashion- to turn up in SUCH a dull, plain, dreary, dark outfit was just so odd. Also- I think it’s pretty clear to most and certainly widely rumoured theirs is more of an “arrangement” than a genuinely happy marriage based on love and warmth. Have heard numerous stories from local mums about his involvement with other women, I’m sure VB is more than aware but desperate to keep the brand, image and family together. I wish she wouldn’t.

It wasn't plain or dreary ffs! It was classic and fitting for a royal wedding, she looked really lovely.

If she really cannot smile because she feels self conscious she must lead a very sad life indeed.
How awful, how sad for her. She must be crippled with self consciousness, self doubt, self loathing.. I never knew this.
I thought she looked awful earlier.. And worse the cameras on the them.. Now I feel really sorry for her.

Naahhhh her outfit was bad. Didn’t show her figure, hid it. Was such a dark colour, thick material, no interesting features. Dreary totally. I’m hoping it’s not David controlling her as recall in a past documentary her saying he hates her in bright dresses.

It was a horrible "dress". What an awful colour to wear to a wedding. She really stood out for her miserable face - I imagine she hates not being the center of attention and is probably quite insecure around aristo types.

Possibly because she knows her husband is partial to a bit of genuine "posh" totty - they seem very cold together.

Didn't I read the whole Spice Girls were going? Are they performing in the evening??

A little birds told me that it's very well known in certain circles that he is having an affair with Alexa Chung. I think she's in a horrible marriage and is totally miserable, but they have a brand to protect.

During the cello David looked like he tried to speak to her and gave up when she didn’t respond, she did look a big sad for some reason. I think she looked amazing though, I hate all the negativity she gets... I think she seems a lovely person.

I like this look. Not flashy or brash. Simple and classic with a bit of colour in the shoes. She looks very pretty too.

I loved the cut, the detail at the neck (a buckle?) and the hat was perfect. Just would have preferred it in a lighter colour.

The dress had sleeves which had slits in them and the cuffs were dangling. It was a bit odd. She wore navy to the Kate/William wedding too. It’s what she wears. It’s a shame she cannot make any attempt to be animated. She does look totally po faced and she needs to get over it. However if it’s to get everyone talking about her, it works!

She gets slagged off so much, she probably wore something plain so she didn’t get accused of trying to upstage the bride ( see other thread about Kate Middleton for that commentHmm)
I vaguely know someone connected to them & have also heard rumours about him & yet it’s her that gets ripped apart by the press & other women Angry
