To wonder why I keep finding tiny screws everywhere?

For the past few months I keep finding very small screws lying about the house. I'm a single mother to 15yo DD so no man who might be doing DIY iyswim. I've asked DD but she has no clue. Any ideas?

This happened to me. I was totally baffled until I realised they were all falling out from the underside of my laptop as I carried it about the house.

Are you in a newish house? We had this when we stayed in a new build and it was grub screws I think you call them that fell out of door handle screw holes. The builders hardly turned each screw in the handle so they were all falling out within a few months.

Some nitrous oxide (laughing gas) vials have screws at the top I believe (from what I see in the station car park anyway!)

The screws are really small. I've lived here for ages so I'm not convinced it's to do with the house itself. I've checked the obvious places and they all seem to still have screws. I've attatched a photo, they look like these but maybe a bit smaller? They have the cross thing on the top although one had a three point thingy on top.

(Sorry if my describing is bad I have no idea about such things)

Don't think DD vapes or has nitrous oxide. Although I could be wrong as she doesn't talk to me hardly.

I keep finding the backs of earrings. None are missing off any of my earrings though .

Happened to us too - our cleaner kept finding screws for a few weeks. Fortunately nothing has fallen to pieces. Don’t know where they came from
