I mean compared to clean shaven or a full on beard. Even Brad Pitt looked worse imo. Or does anyone like them?

I like them. My dp only shaves about once a week and looks a bit like a homeless man by the end of the week. Sometimes when he shaves he’ll leave a goatee and give me a smooch then shave it off as he knows I like them . It’s probably not very fashionable these days now that big bushy beards have been so popular.

Still either way better than just a moustache! although I do rather like a handlebar moustache

I think they are so sexy!! A guy at work had one and for a while I had a little crush on him. Now he's shaved it off I really don't find him physically attractive. Shallow, I know......

they look good on some men and don't on others, my other half is usually clean shaven but when hes on holiday or working from home marking for a week he dosen't shave and because hes blonde he looks like a homeless person by the end of the week

Interesting. I'm genuinely surprised so many like them. I don't even like it on iron man. Not a big fan of beards all round though but goatees I just don't get. Or 'sole patches' actually.

Okay I have googled this lord vetinari character and he seems to have a very thin beard which goes all the way round still hideous so I don't know if that qualifies

YABkindofU I think they look ok but it definitely depends on the man, much like any facial hair.
They can look a bit scruffy unless they are really well maintained and the guy is generally well groomed.

Dp has bit of one going on but its more sporadic. Be cant grow a full beard due to lack of whiskers. He is so fit with a bit of facial hair xx

Both of my sons, and DH sport beards. DS1 has a goatee with a magnificent handlebar moustache which he waxes (he's 25) He's a musician and it's part of his look!

I have a bit of a thing for my dc's previously clean shaven consultant, but he grew a beard between appointments and my legs practically gave way when I walked in and saw him.

Goatee and Van Dyke look good on a man with a lean or chiselled look. Not good on a plump or soft-featured man.
