Do you class yourself as well travelled? Could you give a list of countries/areas you have visited. I would go as far as including Tenerife, Majorca, etc as separate as there such different places although both in Spain. Likewise, NY, Florida, Vegas, California, etc as they are all very different. Is there any where you've went back to multiple times. Would be interested to hear everyone's from someone who hasn't travelled much but would love to.

I'll start, UK, France, Majorca, Spain, Tenerife, Egypt

Don't feel particularly well travelled as I haven't 'been travelling', but have been to: Dominican Republic, Amsterdam, Egypt, Spain (multiple places), France (multiple places, Dublin, Mexico, USA. Maybe I am after reading that?!

France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Tunisia, Italy, Corsica, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech, Australia, New Zealand, they are the places we have camped travelling on 2 and 4 wheels.

About eight European capitals and east coast USA - so not well-travelled. However, many of my friends who do Spanish beach holidays would probably say that I am.

Not seeing more places before DC is something I regret.

Amazing would love to visit all continents. Anyone done that?

I consider myself fairly well travelled, I know how lucky I have been. My list:

Republic of Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Austria, Vatican City, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, USA, Canada, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Maldives.

I've lived in some of these places and been to several of them many times. Hopefully I'll have many opportunities to add more

No I don’t.

I’ve been to France, Brittany and somewhere in the south, Spain, several different places including the islands. I’ve been to the Netherlands and Cyprus. Florida and Montreal. That’s it. Oh, and Dominican Republic.

Yes to the all continents question. No to counting places like Vegas & NY separately, or Spain. I have visited multiple places more than once but still been to over 100 countries. Compared to some I'm not that well travelled. Compared to others, I am.

I am very poorly traveled within Europe, a bit better long haul but still a long list of places I’d like to visit:

France (Paris, Pyrenees), Spain (Marbella, Ibiza, Barcelona), Italy (Venice, Puglia, Lake Garda), Canada (British Columbia), Sri Lanka, Maldives, Antigua, Mauritius, Mexico (Tulum), South Africa!

Been to Ibiza and Marbella multiple times. Have New Zealand and Florida trips booked. Really want to go to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia - think one of those may be next.

Forgot I’ve bedn to Dubai too! And will go to Singapore on the way to NZ.

I don't think spending any less than a couple of months anywhere means you are well "traveled". Some people are weirdly competitive about it,such as a couple who spent a couple of weeks in a lovely luxury All In resort in Mexico and they've "done" the country

Why do you think Majorca and Tenerife are not Spain? If I go to the Isle of Wight, does it count as a foreign country?

I have spent holidays in various countries, but only really traveled across India, Vietnam/Cambodia/Thailand but 8 months there were really not enough to fully explore them, I lived in Europe and the States. I don't consider myself well traveled, but I do enjoy holidays abroad.

I feel fairly well travelled, took 3 months off work many years ago and went round the world, it was fabulous.

I have been to Spain (Madrid and Alicante), France (lived in Paris for a year), Germany (Berlin), Italy (Venice, Verona, Lake Garda), Belgium (Brussels), Turkey, Tunisia, China (Beijing and Xiamen), South Africa (born there).

I would love to go to Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia. Realistically, the next time I go abroad will be for a holiday with DH and DS (10 months) so more likely to be France or Spain again.

Oh and I've been to Greece (Corfu).
