...is contemplating doing a massive exploding poo that will totally ruin all those gorgeous white clothes and linens? Grin That is definitely what my DC would have done. But still, awwww. Cute wee baby.

I think he's gorgeous, not least because he's bigger than a lot of babies so looks more well formed kind of. He looks a little bit yellowish/reddish (mild jaundice may be?)

Pengggwn · 06/05/2018 20:03

One is considering doing a giant turd.

mimibunz · 06/05/2018 20:04

Grin Yep, you nailed it, OP!

MuddyForestWalks · 06/05/2018 20:04

Yes I thought he looked a little jaundiced in that photo. I don't expect Kate will have to schlep down to her local hospital to sit ages waiting for the jaundice clinic.

Ha ha definitely!

ConfusedWife1234 · 06/05/2018 20:06

lol I love the idea of dressing babies all in white, but how on earth do they keep their clothes as white as this? All my kids white clothes had stains that were still there after washing. So I discontinued buying white clothes sigh.

They must have some extra cool royal laundry detergent.

MuddyForestWalks · 06/05/2018 20:09

Well its wonderfully sunny at the moment, and hanging whites out in the sun is fab for getting rid of poo stains. I will confess to cutting off and binning some babygros after the very worst poonamis.

Do you think IT will squish out of the nappy and then not just cover his legs but also all the way up his back??
(My DD was a champion at that.)

Herja · 06/05/2018 20:11

Vanish gold confusedwife soak everything for a white wash in it overnight first. Ignore the instructions saying no more than 6 hours, at least 10.

MuddyForestWalks · 06/05/2018 20:13

Yes probably, and HRH Mother or Father will go to pick him up unawares and put their hand right on it Envy

I can never normally see a resemblance in babies, but he looks like his big brother

MuddyForestWalks · 06/05/2018 20:18

He's the image of Charlotte - and I was going to say that the whites are so white because they are brand new but it appears the wee jumper is a hand-me-down!

Well, two of mine are out of diapers and all of them are out of the worst poo accident age now... they are in the age for food stains, mud stains, blood stains now... but I will remember that if I ever have a new born again.

Hey, have a great recipe for mud stains too? I dress my two older boys mostly in olive, navy and wine red, because everything lighter sometimes will be ruined the first day they are wearing it.

Praisebe · 06/05/2018 20:23

I think he looks like Henry the 5th Hmm

yorkshireyummymummy · 06/05/2018 20:24

My dd was dressed in all white until she was three months old. Had to bin some clothes that got caught with the seeping poo. It was the ‘ yellow’ of the poo that I couldn’t get out. But vanish gold as previously mentioned and a hot wash always worked for me. I love seeing a baby in while.
I think it’s great the way he is dressed in Charlottes jumper. But of course Kate was brought up in a normal household with no servants, huge wealth etc so why should we expect any different?

ConfusedWife1234 · 06/05/2018 20:31

... and why shouldn‘t wealthy people and privileged be frugal? I heard the queen uses Tupperware, no idea if it is true.

I definetly would give my children hand me downs if I was the richest person on this planet. It is better for the environment and they grow so quickly that everything else just would made no sense.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 06/05/2018 20:37

He's a little sweetheart.
I bet the nanny dealt with the subsequent poonaumi Grin

bridgetreilly · 06/05/2018 20:37

To be fair, he's three days old in that photo. His clothes haven't had a lot of chance to be anything other than white. I assume they threw out any stained hand-me-downs before he was born.

MuddyForestWalks · 06/05/2018 20:40

George wore William's old shorts and Charlotte wore Harry's old shoes, so obviously the Royals are keen on passing on clothes. And why not indeed.

I don't even know why I am as interested in this as I am Grin

viques · 06/05/2018 20:42

the queen uses tupperware apparently so, the royal breakfast table is graced by cereals in Tupperware boxes. I was surprised, I had them down as fellow porridge eaters myself.

mathanxiety · 06/05/2018 20:44

Is George completely over the new sibling thing or busy doing four year old stuff, I wonder.

GreenItWas · 06/05/2018 20:45

I think he looks like Diana's brother, Earl Spencer.

mathanxiety · 06/05/2018 20:46

All babies look like Winston Churchill.

Namechangefail1 · 06/05/2018 20:48

I think it’s more for sentimental reasons, and nothing to do with frugality.
