To be really disappointed with the last episode of Dexter

I’m not BU. It was shit. Robotic shitty dialogues. Sloppy...I’m sure they referred to Rio de Janeiro as a city in Argentina a few times. Crap acting. They killed Debra? Why? And he leaves his son to become a woodcutter? Wtaf?

I’ve been meaning to watch Dexter since 2006, but have only just got around to it. Took me a month but the last few seasons were shit.

Frigging loved dexter but yeah the ending was so meh

Debra was irritating as fuck at the beginning but they really developed her character well and I was gutted she died!

Season 5 was amazing with Lumen. Went downhill from there because his character went from being extremely aware/clever/attention to detail in his killings to sloppy/dumb and stupid at times.

The ending was rubbish I agree! He let his son go off with someone who could potentially kill him 🤔

I've just finished it too, disappointing, he loved his son but became a woodcutter? hmm. Same empty feeling I got after Lost ended. Ha NC I often thought that! He got a lot of huge sweat patches too but at least they kept it real, being in Florida summer..however, how come the womens makeup never melted?

Why wear his kill clothes and throw Deb into the sea like he did all those MURDERERS? ?? Gutted at such a shit ending.

I think they’ll make a series where Harrison follows in his footsteps.

I didnt like the Dexter finale, but I thought it was brave not to have a happy Hollywood ending. It was right for him to acknowledge how bad his actions were and try to withdraw from society in a attempt to stop. Before this the series had almost glamorised murder, so from a moralist perspective it was the right kind of ending.

Also he'd pretty much lost everyone he loved so there wasn't much left for him.

well, sadly Deb WAS a murderer..and she was haunted by that of course.. which was all Dexter's fault!

I also think Harrison will inherit the murderous tendencies and will become the subject of a new series.

Agree the series with Lumen was the best one. I couldn't stand that irritating witch he ended up with (can't remember her name)

I hated Lila (but I think that was the point, she was meant to be irritating.. 'pardon my tits!') and Hannah was vile...Lumen was the best for sure...

I have just rewatched the whole of 6 Feet Under after seeing it many years ago

It's really stood the test of time and if you like Michael C Hall you will love it. More eye candy too in the lead role 😗
