Ignore it then, why does it bother you, do you feel left out or insecure. May the 4th ws my dads birthday, it was a joke in our family for many many years

Mulberry72 · 04/05/2018 09:25

YABVU.

Star Wars is top! Grin

mailfuckoff · 04/05/2018 09:26

I have no love for star wars either but the remaining 3 people in my house love it so I suck it up. Its only one day.

autumnleaf1 · 04/05/2018 09:27

I find Star Wars very boring!

ghostyslovesheets · 04/05/2018 09:29

some people like things other people don't shocker!

I think Fifty Shades of Grey and those vampire films/books are a huge pile of steaming horeshit - should I start a thread about it

I also dislike prawns

JamesBlonde1 · 04/05/2018 09:30

I’ve really tried to like it. My DH is a huge fan being a 70’s child.

I don’t get it.

QueenOfIce · 04/05/2018 09:34

It's crap, and the 4th be with you is bollocks. Grin

Carboholic · 04/05/2018 09:39

I also dislike prawns - O - M - G!!! Shock Shock Shock

Grin

But yeah, OP, Star Wars should have stopped while they were ahead, which was after the first film. The ones with young Anakin make my blood boil and make me think that physically disciplining children can't be SO BAD, if they are SO terribly behaved as that entitled whiny little shit.

WomanEqualsAdultHumanFemale · 04/05/2018 09:41

Eh?

Why would you be unreasonable not to like something?

HanSolo · 04/05/2018 09:42

Do you not even like me???
Sad

I'm just a lovable rogue...

HanSolo · 04/05/2018 09:42

But I don't like prawns either...

QueenOfIce · 04/05/2018 09:44

I don't like prawns either, beady eyes and too many legs. Yuck.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 04/05/2018 09:45

I think it's vastly overrated, is only famous because it was fairly original and was largely carried by the charisma of Harrison Ford. And I have seen all the movies far too many times.

ghostyslovesheets · 04/05/2018 09:47

from a fantastic Victoria Wood sketch

'Never touch prawns; they hang around sewage outlet pipes treading water with their mouths open'

AgentHannahWells · 04/05/2018 09:48

It's a bit boring now. The may 4th thing. From being a fun nerd thing it's now a crazeeee corporate cringe thing.

fassone · 04/05/2018 09:50

Yeah but Kylo Ren though....

The first Star Wars film would have been crap. Fortunately it had great editors. See this extremely interesting video about the changes made by the editors.

m.youtube.com/watch?t=372s&v=GFMyMxMYDNk

By the prequels, Lucas' ego had swollen to the point that nobody was able to tell him that most of the scenes were garbage.

Fatted · 04/05/2018 09:53

Don't watch it then?! 🤔 There's plenty of crap I don't like I could moan about on here but I don't!

WomanEqualsAdultHumanFemale · 04/05/2018 09:56

Yeah but Kylo Ren though....

🙌 preach!

Riversleep · 04/05/2018 10:01

I've watched all the Star Wars films. As far as I can see, it's about a tax dispute. The baddies do the same thing (build a death star) over and over again but are still blindsided when it gets blown up. I have no idea what the story is apart from that, despite sitting in a cinema for hours and hours watching the films 😁

GorgeousJaws · 04/05/2018 10:01

You're bang out of order.

Han Solo is thee fittest character ever.

May the fourth be with you Smile

Riversleep · 04/05/2018 10:03

theycallmebabydriver · 04/05/2018 10:13

Luckily it's not compulsory to have to like it.

I saw the last Star Wars film when I was going through my 'so horny I'll hump the chairs' stage of my pregnancy. Kylo Ren just about tipped me over the edge!
