Also feel the same about other young dead musicians. Die young, prob drugs/alchohol. Just feel that talent burns bright and gone too soon. Winehouse and Cobain also sad.

He was a genius. Gutted.

Eatsleepcake · 21/04/2018 15:14

So sad. A truly wonderful and talented musician.

updownwhinewhine · 21/04/2018 15:30

28, not far off the tragic 27 so many have died at. Burn bright but fizzle out too soon. I'm not normally a fan of dance music but I love his work, and feel sad for all the music we've lost that he now won't make. Very shocked, his poor family.

Colonelpopcorn · 21/04/2018 15:32

I’m very sad about avicii Sad
Saw him in Ibiza, he was amazing!

chewablemunchkin · 21/04/2018 15:33

Yeah it's sad. His music is amazing, a lost talent.

I am sad that his life is over at 28. I'm not into dance music but my DC all loved him. He's their generation. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Tim.

ButtMuncher · 21/04/2018 15:44

Very sad. Love his music and always seemed to be a real craftsman when it came to creating EDM.

He retired from music a couple of years ago and I think because of ill health, so not convinced it's anything addiction related. Who knows though. Either way, really sad.

brighthouse · 21/04/2018 15:47

So sad, wasted life of a talented young man.

updownwhinewhine · 21/04/2018 17:22

ButtMuncher, not confirmed yet but he had pancreatitis brought on by heavy drinking so that seems the most likely cause. Too sad, reminds me of when we lost Any Winehouse Sad

flowerslemonade · 21/04/2018 17:27

I'm sad too. I love his music.

Wolfiefan · 21/04/2018 17:30

There was a thread the other day. I tried but couldn't compose a response. I just wanted to say fuck no. So sad. So ridiculously young. Such a talent to lose.
His poor family and friends.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 21/04/2018 17:32

I'll admit to shedding a tear this morning when I read the news, amazing talent & just so young Sad

Popadoodledoo · 21/04/2018 17:34

I heard about it yesterday in the news and I just could not believe it. Still on about it today to my husband its a complete shock!!

He was so young and talented. He will be missed :(

Rufustheconstantreindeer · 21/04/2018 17:35

Very sad

A great loss

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 21/04/2018 17:36

I’d never heard of him until yesterday but then realised I knew and liked a lot of his music, I just didn’t know who it was.

So sad.

@updownwhinewhine - ahhh ignore me then, didn't realise it was alcoholism related.

Oh no!
I didn’t know this
Loved his music and I’m 66

mostdays · 21/04/2018 18:21

It's always sad when someone dies so young :( I don't know much of his music but the really famous one is dh and the ds's car song, they love it. Poor man, his family must be devastated.

AvonCallingBarksdale · 21/04/2018 18:24

Pigpigpig you have limited sympathy that someone aged 28 has died?! How so?

Archietheinventor · 21/04/2018 18:27

@pigpigpig

Why? You don’t feel sad that a 28 year old has died? You sound lovely Hmm While none of us knew him, surely you can feel sad that someone so young has died (& we don’t know how yet, unless you are privy to some info that is more than just gossip mongering?) and feel sympathy for the loss of a young talented life and for his family and friends?

jnfrrss · 21/04/2018 18:38

It's really sad, I was obsessed by his music 4-5 years ago.

Poor Rita ora must be heartbroken.

I think this is another good example of why having money can be so difficult to live with. His health problems were exasperated with the drink and drugs.

I was a bit hmm at some of the dale winton comments saying 62 was no age and far too soon. But in your 20s? It's heartbreaking

Pigpigpig · 21/04/2018 18:42

I’m glad you know me so well based on one post.

I’m not one for getting upset over someone I have never met, didn’t know and have no connection to. It’s a shame, but no, I don’t feel sad. I feel sorry for his family who are left behind.

I’m not cold, I’m not a horrible person. I’ve had enough difficulty and upset in my own life without getting upset over a stranger. I’m ok with that.
