I thought it had to be a piss take, but DD (18) assures me she saw some Youtubers called the Try Guys (or something like that) trying male swimsuits out, including something like this, about a couple of years ago.....

It is like a strap around one leg. And I agree, distinctly unsexy.

Is it like a band - with wire for extra sturdiness?
Starts at the front, goes round the side, through bum cheeks , 'underneath' & finally joins up at the front again.

I've studied it too closely I think.
