I love Confessions by Simon Mayo as well on BBC, its so funny

Might not fit with your interests, but the Fortunately podcast with Jane Garvey and Fi Glover is brilliant. The two of them chatting together is hilarious and they've had some really entertaining and enlightening guests as well. Last week they had Gillian Reynolds, radio critic from The Times. I'd never heard of her, but she's 82 (I think) and has been writing for newspapers about radio for over 40 years. She was brilliant - really funny, witty and acerbic. Highly recommend it.

Standard Issue Podcast is also good (started by Sarah Millican).

Swindled is a slightly different true crime podcast that I am really enjoying.

Joe Rogan Experience with Megan Phelps Roper. Megan was a prominent member of the Westboro Baptist Church in the USA (Louis Theroux made two documentaries about them). Westboro preach hell and damnation; amongst other activities they picket dead soldiers' and celebrities' funerals. She choose to leave the church a few years ago and was cut off by her family as a consequence. She now preaches a very different message and is very inspirational. She's also done a wonderful TED talk.

Wrongful Conviction Podcast with Jason Flom

I loved Serial 1 and S-Town.

I don't know where to go next though so these other suggestions are interesting!
