What's pisses you off lately?

Let's have a rant and talk it out.
Mine was yesterday. I was on a bus and had to fit my dd in her pushchair in a tiny gap. An me an dp were crushed next to it.
I'm 37 weeks pregnant with sciatica and rheumatoid arthritis and a man got off two stops down (he looked like he needed the seat to be honest) and offered me the seat immediately and asks when my due date is. Such a lovely man. So as he gets off, I go to squeeze out of this gap to sit in his seat and an old lady rushes from the seat 3 rows behind to this seat I'm about to sit on. An then ushers her friend to join her! My dd is having problems away from me at the moment so I wanted to sit near her and also so I could feed her her bottle leaning across as dp couldn't do it Stood up cause he's so tall.
I was disgusted. An I'm hormonal so the rage is real.

School is pissing me off. DD is bored and they tell me they don't have the time to give her extra work and she should learn to "fit in".

Grrrr.

The80sweregreat · 09/03/2018 21:27

That’s sad to read.
life pisses me off - technology is too hard for me to deal with (old) paying out for cars to be fixed - such a rip off. Bitchy friends. I feel your pain!

LimonViola · 09/03/2018 21:29

Costa coffee serving lattes in tall glasses instead of cups/mugs. What in the actual fuck is that about? I always ask for a cup instead. The tall glasses are so structurally unsound for holding and drinking from, carrying on a tray etc.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 09/03/2018 21:32

In a coffee shop, breastfeeding my DD yesterday, I stand up with her still latched on, in my arms to make it easier for the two women behind me to get passed to leave. Really had to bite my tongue from shouting after them “oh sorry you forgot something...the word thank you”.....arghhhh bloody rudeness!

That ANY parcel I order that’s being delivered by YODEL goes missing Angry

Gide · 09/03/2018 21:34

My job. Fucking hate it, can’t wait to get out.

The80sweregreat · 09/03/2018 21:35

Bad manners! Yes. Please and thank you seem to have disappeared. Costs nothing to be polite.

Bitsandbobsalot · 09/03/2018 21:35

My mil she’s such a Debbie downer about everything. I can’t look at her sour face atm.

Twocatsonebaby · 09/03/2018 21:36

Another for me Is we always get our neighbours huge parcels. Then as soon as we finally get dd to nap it's 'BANG BANG BANG WHERE'S MY PARCEL!?' An it wakes her up Angry

I already know this is irrational but here goes.
I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant. Have just started maternity leave yesterday. Started having early/false labour signs (back ache, period type pains, dodgy tum, sickness and lots of tightenings two days ago - I went to work one day as suspected labour wouldn't kick off imminently)

My daft partner made the mistake of telling his family...so far today I've had a barrage of texts and missed calls asking if the baby has arrived accompanied by a full run through of their schedules (working here on these days, off on these days so if it hasn't arrived you can't have her til x day) etc. Had requests to host them for lunch as now I'm off and have "nothing else to do" (apart from get everything ready I haven't managed yet as I worked full time and look after my 15 month old) and had an unannounced visit off one of them, who my dogs dislike so they went nuts and woke my sleeping toddler up who is cranky anyway due to cutting SIX teeth all at once (kid doesn't do anything by half).

Anyway, the signs all stopped last night and I'm so annoyed that I'm having to deal with speaking to his family (that I don't particularly like) all freaking day when I was hoping my first day of maternity leave would be spent relaxing a bit with baby 1 and getting all of my jobs done! Partner got an earful when he got in and will speak to them before I lose my rag in a huge rage. I could have three weeks of this off them! I won't be able to cope!

fannythrobbing · 09/03/2018 21:44

Sorry for the essay!

Twocatsonebaby · 09/03/2018 21:52

@fanny think you commented on my last post 😂 I know the feeling, dp did the same with our dd and it was a false alarm. I got messages for weeks. I had to block them and ignore them 😂 take it easy x

mrspitt · 09/03/2018 21:57

TIMEKEEPING why is no one ever on time!! This! This! This! Sorry...I've had my fill of people being late this week or EXPECTATIONS of what should be provided ....eh..no..😡

Babyroobs · 09/03/2018 22:02

what has really pissed me off today is that a few days ago it took me half an hour just to get out of my workplace carpark because one of the barriers was broken so all the traffic was trying to get out of one exit clogging everything up. So I thought to myself I'm not paying £7.70 a day to have to wait half an hour to get out the carpark. So instead I parked a 25 min walk away, only when I then got to my workplace there was a notice on all the car parking paying machines saying that due to problems with the barriers parking was free. So bloody annoying. I nearly screamed.

Twocatsonebaby · 09/03/2018 22:02

Foodiefil to be honest, I must've looked like santa. My dp looked at them with disgust and said "need that seat do you?!" and they then went on to say he had an attitude problem.
Whilst I was stood there rubbing my huge pregnant belly in front of them.

I've had a man before not notice due to my coat and as soon as dp went to rub my belly (hate that term) he immediately got up and offered it me despite me not really needing it as my back wasn't to bad and it was a short journey and he even apologised.
Some complete asshole about

I’m pissed off at my fucking relatives.

Me and all 3 of my siblings are in UK, my DM is in another EU country and her DM (our GM), siblings and other relatives are in on of the ex-Soviet countries.

Well, my GM died yesterday early hours. I only found out about it around noon.
Me and my siblings are understandably heartbroken and know how it affected our DM, so decided to get her to funeral. However, we wanted to talk to her about it today, to give her some time to grieve before she starts collecting papers for visa and stuff.

Anyway, today we were that funeral was this morning. Apparently they asked my DM yesterday straight after breaking the news and she said she doesn’t think she’d make it.
They didn’t ask us - the grandchildren - at all. They just went ahead and buried our favourite grandparent. We didn’t get to say goodbye or even order a wreath.

My DM lost her DM and wasn’t given an opportunity to think how can she get to funeral.

I actually hate them all now. Fucking selfish cunts. Fuck them all. AngryAngryAngry

Costco

People abandon their trolleys
People try to fit their huge trolley through a gap that > < wide instead waiting a nanosecond while the other shopper lugs 36 bottles of water into their trolley
Just stand there taking up the entire aisle instead of tucking the trolley in
Waltzing off to pick something up then do that annoying salsa side step between two trolleys
Don't even look round the end of the aisle before barging through

I am raging thinking "Did you fucking DRIVE here? If so , give me a 20 minute head start before we both share the M25"

Angry at the man who flicked the v sign at my dad when my dad had to slam on at a zebra crossing for him to cross. Ok in most situations the man would have been completely in the right and my dad would have deserved it but.......
My dad was coming up to the zebra crossing which has a very high grass verge coming down to the pavement, you can’t see over the grass verge. Just as my dad gets to the crossing this guy came running over the verge at full pelt and just kept going into the road which meant my dad had to slam on as did the women in the car on the other side of the road. The guy got to the other side and turned and flicked the v sign shouting abuse at my dad and the other women . Arsehole

Being promised flexibility at interview, no questions asked, and having to justify it anytime it’s exercising. Really beginning to piss me off

That would piss me off so much. Angry

I have bus complaints too. I was sitting in the row behind the "reserved for people who need them more area". Out of the corner of my eye I see an older lady with a walking cane give me a sideways dirty look as she passes me to the row behind and to my left.

There were 4 seats open specifically for disabled people she could have sat in, so why do I get a dirty look? Even if I wasn't 33 weeks pregnant there were plenty of open seats for people to sit in.

Then there was the bus ride home, I was travelling from a centre that specialises in mental health issues so it's not uncommon for people who ride the bus from there to have mental health issues, myself included. It's not noticeable except in the cases where someone has a condition not being well controlled by medication.

Enter the man who had a very animated somewhat hostile conversation with himself for 20 minutes in another language. I can understand why it made people uncomfortable but I don't know why an elderly man decided to tell him repeatedly to be quiet and did be quiet hand gestures towards him. The guy was clearly mentally unwell so what effect at all was that going to have? None, if you're wondering.

Delivery people knocking on my door. It makes me jump out of my skin. Ring the fucking doorbell! That's what's its for.

Hospital appointments. Im on my 3rd in a week come Tuesday. My 7th since January and its not like the hospital is local and is 3 buses there and 2 buses back. One in April to. Also walking down my high street getting passed the vast amount of charity canvassers is ridiculous. Now its not a big high street but 8 of them in close range of each other is a bit to much
