About 40mins away by dual carriageway.

My ex needed to move near his family: 4 hour round trip by car or train.

5 minutes away which works well as we work shifts around each other.

10 mins, purposefully to make shared care as easy as possible

About 500 miles from one. 10 miles from the other. Never see either of them though.

3.5hrs each way.

Means he doesn't see them as much as he should.

I was for 10yrs and I live 190 miles from my ex and it's not far enough!

Thousands of miles, never counted how many. His choice!

About 3.5 hrs away. But we discussed it prior to my move, and he agreed it was the best move possible for the dcs and was necessary. He can't be bothered to visit them, even though he said he would, but he at least will face time with them when they want and is supportive of other things with them, so I'll call it "making the best of it." I've twice taken them to his location for a few days (which was expensive!!)so they could see him.

Mine you, even when he was in the same town he wasn't totally reliable or willing to co-parent.

I will soon be 100 miles away, moving to a cheaper area.

Less than 5 miles. He hasn't seen or had any contact with DD in over 10 years. She'll be 13 this year.

10 mins. Was important to me that he saw the kids as often as possible (he’s a good man and a good dad)

15 minute drive away! But he has seen them once in a year!

Same as Ethel - my dh died when our babies were 2 years and 11 months respectively. He was buried in the churchyard next to our village school.
