Literally need ideas. I'm 35w but I find it so hard to eat in pregnancy and the only thing I've eaten in two days is two yogurts. It's so bad and dangerous. But I just feel so sick all the time :(
Anyone's dinners make me crave something? 😩

Breakfast was lush: Tesco oats & barley, soaked overnight in almond milk with 15g of almond butter, and heated up with banana chips added afterwards. Was so nice and might be good & plainish for you? You could just cook the porridge in milk as normal & add pb & banana?

I had avocado and scrambled egg with smoked paprika & seeds sprinkled on for lunch.

Tea was lentil & vegetable soup, followed by plain greek yoghurt with kiwi & nectarine added.

Not very much as I’m suffering with a painful sinus infection (hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon..). I’ve had a cereal bar, a ham salad wrap, a few slices of wafer thin chicken and a pear. No doubt I’ll wake up starving in the middle of the night but I just don’t feel hungry at the moment.

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 27/02/2018 21:15

I had lovely homemade lentil soup for lunch, could you fancy something like that?

Argeles · 27/02/2018 21:16

Crunchy nut cornflakes.

Tomato soup and bread.

Spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread.

Grapes and plums.

Twocatsonebaby · 27/02/2018 21:16

I keep getting so hungry at 3am. But at that point I'm too frightened to go downstairs and it's too late/early to eat when I need to sleep as I already have a young child to look after.
I end up falling asleep around 10pm and waking up at 1.
I desperately need foods rich in iron as I'm really under the midwife says :(

villainousbroodmare · 27/02/2018 21:21

You're frightened to go downstairs? Why?! Confused

Writersblock2 · 27/02/2018 21:23

I’m back on keto, so breakfast was two scrambled eggs cooked with ham and a teaspoon of cream cheese, quarter of an avocado sliced on the side and a teaspoon of mayo. Lunch was a GoGo Protein Power pot (chorizo, cheese and dried broad and edamame beans) and a small olive snack pot. Dinner is salmon fillet with buttery veg followed by sugar free jelly and double cream.

AlwaysPondering · 27/02/2018 21:24

Not very exciting unfortunately

Twocatsonebaby · 27/02/2018 21:26

@Villain
When dp was living here (before I kicked him out) he kept saying there's a spirit patrolling our hallway. So now I'm terrified.
My brother committed suicide in my living room a few years ago and I'm terrified with ptsd of seeing it again like I did when I found him on his first attempt as a child.
I'm terrified on my own

I eat crumpets for breakfast with dollops of nut butter, canned coconut cream, and fresh fruit

When I was pregnant I ate loads of weird stuff tho, but it changed every month. I remember not being very hungry at the beginning but eating loads of kale, spinach, and kale water with lemon in (adding lemon makes it pink!!)
And I didn't realise it at the time but kale with lemon is Fab for iron .

Follow your instincts. Eat at at 3am if that's what your body's telling you too do. Better than not eating at all xx

AlwaysPondering · 27/02/2018 21:28

Are you scared of waking the others?

Maybe take up some dried fruits to quickly nibble on at 3am? I think there is iron in dried fruits. Like apricots and prunes.

JustDanceAddict · 27/02/2018 21:29

Homemade granola & milk for breakfast - water
Nespresso latte about 11
lunch: low fat cheddar cheese toastie with some cucumber & radishes on side
Kiwi fruit
Water

Dinner:
Waitrose fish cake with rice and broccoli/green beans
A hotel chocolate or two Wink
Half a can of san Pelegrino fizzy orange
Water

Lilymossflower · 27/02/2018 21:29

Bring a meal up to your room earlier in the night, to eat at 3am!!

JustDanceAddict · 27/02/2018 21:30

Ooh I had half a can of Heinz tomato soup too

AlwaysPondering · 27/02/2018 21:30

Cross post! Aw OP I can see why you feel that way Flowers definitely take some snacks with.

LanguidLobster · 27/02/2018 21:31

Oh god twocats :(

Did ex play on that? Things like leafy greens and a few dried apricots will help with extra iron. Do you have a liquid supplement?

FluffyWuffy100 · 27/02/2018 21:31

I’ve eaten loads today!

Smoked salmon and egg breakfast sandwich from Pret and a black coffee.

Several mini Swiss chocolate bar things.

Lunch was a delicious Franca manca pizza.

Dinner I made a veg stir fry with 5 portions of veg and had a banana after.

Sandsnake · 27/02/2018 21:31

Cornflakes
A couple of Oreos
Soup and chips (classy to the last!)
Homemade lamb koftas and salad
A small cupcake

villainousbroodmare · 27/02/2018 21:32

Oh dear. Sympathy. Maybe bring cheese and crackers to bed on a covered plate?

Bluntness100 · 27/02/2018 21:34

I'd also suggest taking a snack to bed with you.

Twocatsonebaby · 27/02/2018 21:34

I'm not sure if he did or not. He knew it frightened me but he was frightened by it too. I always thought it was my brother to be honest but ex dp said it was around 6ft 7 and dressed in white so definitely not my brother. Im not sure what I believe. But on your own if you're frightened anyway, I think anything frightens you.
