Literally need ideas. I'm 35w but I find it so hard to eat in pregnancy and the only thing I've eaten in two days is two yogurts. It's so bad and dangerous. But I just feel so sick all the time :(
Anyone's dinners make me crave something? 😩

I made a roasted lemon and mustard pork loin, with roasted leeks, butternut squash, parsnips, red onion and potatoes. All slimming world friendly too! Was lovely.

@Twocatsonebaby oh mate I'm so sorry to hear that, no wonder you're terrified!!

Can you take iron supplements? I started with 200 mg once a day then after a month twice a day. My stomach reacted poorly to initially trying 200 mg twice a day but taking it back down then up a month later has sorted the problem.

My appetite is sporadically not so great with me not being able to force myself to eat many foods I normally enjoy.

As for food I find I can pretty much always eat or drink homemade pasta bakes without meat, plain bread, lightly buttered toast, Jacobs cheddar crackers, a variety of Cup of Soups, jacket potatoes, potato croquettes, plain cheese pizza, lactose free fat free milk, and protein water.

Maybe not the healthiest fare, but it's food and I take a lot of vitamin supplements to make up for it. I don't always drink the protein water but some days I find I can't eat meat and I'm lactose intolerant so normal protein drinks can make me ill.

My midwife did write me a prescription but I'm always a bit weary but I haven't picked it up yet, I have bought some dried apricots that I'm intending to down but I can't stand them aha. She did say protein milkshakes but I have RA and just find it sets me off quite badly so I'm struggling for what else

So jealous reading some of these and hope you feel a bit better soon.

I had:
Breakfast - coffee flavoured meal replacement shake
Lunch - peaches and cream flavoured meal replacement shake, mini pot of black grapes and a cinnamon fibre one square
Dinner - chicken breast flattened and then rolled in egg, rolled oats, ground almonds & paprika served with a cucumber, tomato & avocado salad

Dinner: quorn chicken pasta bake with a slice of garlic bread, spinach and broccoli

An apple
A ham and spinach sandwich

Wholemeal rice, chicken and cabbage with soy sauce
A chocolate mug cake and ice cream

SconNotScone · 27/02/2018 22:37

When I was pregnant, I used to wake up in the night SO hungry. So i’d put a banana and a couple of ginger biscuits on my bedside table and ate them if I woke in the night!

SconNotScone · 27/02/2018 22:39

But in answer to your original question...
Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs and toast soldiers.
Lunch was a bagel and ham.
Dinner was Mary Berry’s panang chicken stir fry, which was delish.

whywhywhywhywhyyy · 27/02/2018 22:39

I've had a protein shake for breakfast, chicken dippers for dinner, and nandos halloumi fries and chicken livers with sweet potato mash for tea. And an apple.

An example of a healthy diet, I am not.
